We are looking for an IT Operations Manager to support Cloud Operations. This is a 12 months direct client contract with a potential to extend / convert into a permanent headcount.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Key member of IT Operations team that manages TMLS IT infrastructure and services, including end-user computing
2. Manage and govern IT Infrastructure services provided by outsourcing partners and managed service providers as assigned including contracts and billing matters
3. Manage or to be involved in Infra related projects and solutioning such as tech refresh, upgrades, migrations and building new IT Infrastructure capabilities
4. Part of the IT Operations team to perform daily BAU tasks such as managing incidents, fulfilment of Service Requests, Change Requests and Application Support.
5. Work with relevant department(s) and users to lead the IT DR coordination, recovery strategy, planning and execution.
6. Assist with IT audit management and matters.
7. Ensure delivery and solution complies with internal policies, procedures, standards, and compliance requirements.
8. Contribute and document IT Ops procedures and standards as needed in knowledge base
9. System and network patching, capacity and performance management
10. Assess system performance and recommend improvements.
11. Ensure data is handled, transferred, or processed according to the company guidelines and established processes.
Experience and Skills:
- At least 5 years of experience of strong hands-on technical experience in IT Infrastructure and IT Operations.
- Good understanding of key technologies adopted such as Microsoft Windows Server, Azure Cloud, End User Computing, Active Directory, Virtualization, Networking, Backup/Recovery and Security tools
- Work experience in FSI (Banking & Insurance) and knowledge in MAS Technology Risk Management (TRM) would be an advantage
- Relevant Professional Certifications (e.g. Microsoft, Azure Cloud, Networking, Security) would be advantageous.
- Proficiency in ITIL & ITSM. Some project management experience would be beneficial.
- Strong experience in managing internal stakeholders, end users and vendors.
- Good teamwork, problem-solving and analytical skills
- Degree in Engineering/Business/Finance/Computer Science or equivalent
