Position Summary

The service technician provides efficient after-sales technical services and support, including assembly, PDI, delivery and commissioning, trouble-shooting, maintenance and servicing of equipment and its related parts.

Key Responsibilities / Duties

• To attend to, with urgency, all service calls and is responsible to provide efficient and reliable scheduled maintenance for all equipment. To ensure equipment is tested upon completion before handing over to clients.
• To, at all times, represent the Company in the best possible way, and to relate to clients with professionalism and integrity.
• To assemble, deliver and commission equipment at customer sites, and to train users on its operation.
• To observe safety precautions and to execute correct engineering practices at all times so as to minimise risk to self and others as well as damage to equipment and workplace.
• To maintain proper housekeeping and discipline both within the office floor and workshop as well as the client's work site so as to improve operational efficiency, whilst maintaining the good image of the Company.
• To be responsible to comply with the Group and Company Environment, Health and safety (EHS) policies and safe work procedures.
• To carry out service contracts which our company has with customers.
• To prepare parts recommendation of repairs to admin team for customer.
• To assist the manager in seminars, workshop and product demonstration on ad-hoc basis.
• To complete service order as per completed job.
• To assist in improving and building up the Service unit to achieve the Company's objective of being a leading service provider in terms of its reliability and professionalism.
• To pursue and achieve total quality and competitive advantage through high degree of self-discipline, commitment and involvement at all levels of the organization as well as with its clients, suppliers and principals.
• Any other duties as assigned by the company.

Qualification & Competencies

• NITEC or Diploma in Automotive Technology, Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering.
• No experience is required and training will be provided.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Basic Technical knowledge in automotive repairs.
• Team player with good discipline and work attitude.

• Set up, or set up and operate audio and video equipment including microphones, sound speakers, video screens, projectors, video monitors, recording equipment, connecting wires and cables, sound and mixing boards, and related electronic equipment for concerts, sports events, meetings and conventions, presentations, and news conferences. May also set up and operate associated spotlights and other custom lighting systems.

• Diagnose and resolve media system problems.

• Operate control consoles for sound, lighting or video.

• Determine formats, approaches, content, levels, and mediums to effectively meet objectives within budgetary constraints, using research, knowledge, and training.

• Determine technical requirements of productions or projects.

• Mix and regulate sound inputs and feeds or coordinate audio feeds with television pictures.

• Convert data among multiple digital or analog formats.

• Maintain records, documents, or other files.

• Notify supervisors when major equipment repairs are needed.

• Notify others of equipment problems.

• Perform minor repairs and routine cleaning of audio equipment.

• Collaborate with others to determine technical details of productions.

• Reserve audio-visual equipment and facilities, such as meeting rooms.

• Coordinate logistics for productions or events.

• Record and edit audio material, such as movie soundtracks, using audio recording and editing equipment.

• Operate audio recording equipment.

• Direct and coordinate activities of assistants and other personnel during production.

• Coordinate activities of production personnel.

• Control the lights and sound of events, such as live concerts, before and after performances, and during intermissions.

• Design layouts of audio and video equipment and perform upgrades and maintenance.Collaborate with others to determine technical details of productions.

• Reserve audio-visual equipment and facilities, such as meeting rooms.

• Coordinate logistics for productions or events.

• Construct and position properties, sets, lighting equipment, and other equipment.

• Develop manuals, texts, workbooks, or related materials for use in conjunction with production materials or for training.

• Obtain and preview musical performance programs prior to events to become familiar with the order and approximate times of pieces.

• Provide appropriate technical production support for the School’s performances, concerts and activities

• Work across multiple teams to support the delivery of a number of artistic, academic and venue hire activities

• Ensure all equipment is stored safely and is accessible to others when absent

• Provide technical assistance to external users.

• Any other reasonable duties as required.

• Report any problems that arise with complex equipment and make routine repairs

• Cover the IT Support Executive duties during absences

Responsibilities:

- Watering plants as needed to maintain proper hydration.

- Transferring weeds from garden beds to other areas to uphold a clean and orderly appearance.

- Carrying out basic pruning tasks to support healthy growth.

- Removing horticultural waste such as dead leaves, branches, and debris.

- Undertaking any other assigned ad-hoc duties.

- Providing excellent customer service, including assisting customers with inquiries and offering guidance on plant care.

- Performing repotting duties as required, ensuring proper handling and maintenance of plants during the process.

- Creating terrariums, including selecting suitable plants and arranging them aesthetically within the terrariums.

Requirements:

- No prior experience necessary.

- Passion for outdoor activities and nature.

- Possession of relevant WSQ certifications is advantageous.

- Minimum must work 21hours per week
