Our client is a leading feeder solutions provider in the maritime industry. We are seeking for an experienced global marketing cand for the position of a Senior Manager/Manager role, Global Customer engagement.

Summary: The Global Customer Engagement (GCE) department is responsible for promoting and developing the firm’s relationship with the world’s biggest Container Shipping companies at HQ and Regional HQ levels. As a Senior Manager, you will be responsible for managing and projecting customers’ business requirement in order to generate growth, partnership and other business opportunities.

This is essentially a global marketing role requiring the cand to be equipped with global key account management skills. We are also seeking for a strong communicator with excellent influencing skills to interact with external customers and collaborate with internal stakeholders.

Role and Responsibilities:

Customers

• Global Account Manager for 2-3 corporate customers in the shipping industry;
• You will manage a team of 2-3 pax whom might be fellow account managers and/or Asst Account Managers;
• For accounts that you and your team are managing, you are to strategize, define and implement growth in volume and revenue on a global basis;
• Building multilevel relationship and rapport with key customers globally; going deeper, wider and higher into the customers organisation. This is to develop the customer intimacy that is needed to put ourselves in a more competitive position;
• Be up to speed on knowing your customers’ strategies and develop plans/deals to align ourselves to their needs;
• Measure, track and analyze key account metrics;
• Persuade and influence regional marketing teams and business units to ensure proper management and implementation of strategies for your respective customers;
• All round understanding of the market, the global products offer by customer and competitor; and
• Work closely with other Global Account Managers, Business Unit Directors, Trade Departments & Senior Management.

Processes & Systems

• Ensuring that commercial processes are reviewed regularly and updated; and
• Best practices of contract administration are shared amongst regional hubs.

Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor degree with at least 5 years of global marketing/ key account management exp
• Experience in key account management and building relationships with MNCs with global footprint is essential
• Added shipping/logistics industry exp is very beneficial. But strong global marketing cands without the shipping industry exp will also be considered
• Able to travel overseas (regionally/globally) as part of business requirements. The travel is estimated to be about 30% but this may vary.

• Able to develop relationship independently at different levels of a customer organisation;

Job scope

• Programme planning and implementation for active ageing programme, befriending and buddying, information, and referral to care service, and management of emergency of alert response call.
• Do Community Screening to identify the needs.
• Provide and promote a variety of activities such as karaoke, arts & craft, cooking, and exercise programmes.
• Develop and implement Outreach plan/follow-up visits to seniors in the identified blocks.

• Establish and motivate seniors to run mutual help groups.
• Conduct activities and programmes of the AAC to promotes a community climate of multi-racial tolerance, harmony, and co-operation among residents.
• Network with other agencies to establish additional avenues of help for the welfare of the seniors.
• Volunteer Management
• Assist to establish networks with local community-based services/resources, such as grassroots, social services, corporate organisations, and schools, to engage volunteers to help run or assist in the programmes, start income generating activities, conduct outreach efforts, etc to match the needs of the seniors.
• To Recruit, interview and screen potential volunteers.
• To Provide and coordinate orientation of volunteers to their assigned role and the mission and objectives of the AAC.
• To Place volunteers to suitable positions and areas of need, such as administration of CSQ etc.
• To supervise and support volunteers.
• To establish a system of recognition for the volunteers.
• To review and evaluate the volunteer programme to ensure relevance and to meet future needs.
• To serve as the key communication link between the AAC and its volunteers.
• Quality Assurance
• Involve in quality procedures and guidelines and policy reviews when required.
• Apply compliance to the Company’s quality procedures, guidelines, and policy. Monitor and report non-compliance and implement necessary changes resulting from quality assurance findings in consultation with Centre Manager
• Staff Development / Education
• Attend courses relevant to job functions.

Requirements

• At least O level & above
• Any other knowledge required
• At least 2 years’ working experience.
• Good communication & interpersonal skills
• Preferably with interest and passion for the elderly
• Basic Computer skills for activities, documentation and recording.
• Experience in healthcare/community care setting would be an advantage
