The Field Service Engineer (FSE) is the primary contact for Varian Medical Systems (VMS) customer service and repair needs ensuring that our customers’ equipment operates efficiently at all times. The Hardware FSE is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, installing, upgrading, and performing preventative maintenance on all designated VMS equipment according to instructions and company guidelines. Each FSE operates in a designated field service territory and represents VMS. Job Description:

• You will perform installations, start-ups, maintenance, repairs, and updates of all products within your area of expertise (AX, XP, LINAC) and assisting with other products under supervision.
• You will communicate and accept all operative advice from the Customer Care Center.
• You will support the SERVOR Service process and ensure optimal performance in all process activities related to within your area of responsibility.
• You will escalate incidents according to the defined parameters and inform the Customer Care Center on all escalation issues.
