The Learning Support Educator provide face-to-face learning support sessions to students with hearing loss who are attending mainstream schools from primary to secondary level in the areas of English, Mathematics and cognitive skills.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Learning Support related duties

• Provide face-to-face learning support sessions to students.

• Assess and identify educational/developmental needs of student with hearing loss,

A TYPICAL DAY

My day starts at 8am, although like my colleagues, I often arrive earlier to get set up for the day. I am teaching 4 out of a possible 5, 60 minute lessons today across different year groups. As it is the start of the year, I am really working hard to learn all the names, make a connection with every learner and build learning-focused relationships. At lunchtime I have a duty in the cafeteria and talk to the learners about their day. The teaching day finishes at 3.25pm and today I am running an after-school activity with technical lego in the Makerspace as this is a passion of mine! After I return the learners to the cafeteria to be picked up, I head back to my learning area to collaborate on some planning, complete some marking and check my emails. I am looking forward to the forthcoming Learning trip and will pop to the nearby shops on the way home to get some equipment ready for the trip.

We’re looking for a Training Specialist to join our growing CDD Business Training team in Singapore. Your mission will be to support the learning and development of the Due Diligence teams’ operational agents. The Purpose of the CDD Business Training team in Wise:

The teaching day finishes at 3.25pm and today I am running an after-school activity with technical lego in the Makerspace as this is a passion of mine! After I return the learners to the cafeteria to be picked up, I head back to my learning area to collaborate on some planning, complete some marking and check my emails. I am looking forward to the forthcoming Learning trip and will pop to the nearby shops on the way home to get some equipment ready for the trip.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• A relevant degree plus teaching qualification (or equivalent)
• Higher degree or recognised professional qualification (preferred)
• Evidence of continued relevant professional development
• Experience in teaching learners with diverse needs
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in an international school environment where the school curriculum focused on PYP, MYP, IBDP and/or UK (preferred)
