The Research Fellow (RF) will be responsible to, and work closely with, the Principal Investigator and team members to investigate the effects of repurposing drugs and natural products influencing healthspan and lifespan in mice and biological clocks of ageing, work on ageing and system biology to unravel the ageing networks. The RF’s principal role will be to work on modelling, simulating, and analyzing biological processes related to ageing biology.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

The research group of Assistant Professor Ho Wen Wei (Presidential Young Professor) at the Department of Physics, Faculty of Science, NUS, and Centre for Quantum Technologies (CQT), is seeking a Senior Research Fellow to work on theoretical aspects of nonequilibrium quantum many-body physics and quantum information science.

The main responsibilities of the position include:

- Developing theoretical methods to predict and characterize nonequilibrium quantum many-body phenomena in synthetic quantum matter (cold atoms, Rydberg atoms, trapped ions,etc.), utilizing the lens of quantum information theory (e.g., entanglement, tensor networks). Specific topics include deep thermalization, measurement-induced randomness, measurement-induced entanglement phases, dynamical/driven phases of matter, quantum many-body scars etc.

- Developing quantum information science applications like quantum simulation of complex many-body phenomena, and quantum state preparation and tomography protocols, specifically tailored for current and near-term quantum technologies etc. Analytical calculations and numerical methods will be employed to ascertain the validity and performance of the proposed applications.

We are seeking a Data Analyst with a fervent interest in large-scale datasets and experience in analyzing molecular -omics datasets, such as transcriptomics, proteomics, and metabolomics. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in computatier science and be eager to contribute to large-scale multi-omic projects by performing tasks ranging from data processing to comprehensive analysis of multiomic data. Responsibilities include executing various data analyses, such as differential analysis, employing machine-learning techniques, conducting both supervised and unsupervised clustering, statistical modelling, and developing deep learning neural networks.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor"s or Master"s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• A strong background in brain tumor research.
• Demonstrated expertise in bioinformatics and the analysis of single cell sequencing data.
• Proficiency in using AWS to deploy machine learning and deep learning models.
• Experience in Spatial-omics data analysis is advantageous.
• Skilled in R, Python, Java.

The Signature Research Programme in Neuroscience and Behavioural Disorders (NBD) is focused on understanding the structure and function of the nervous system, and the neural mechanisms underlying human neurological, psychiatric and ophthalmological disorders.

The selected candidate will perform a variety of research activities which include planning, organising and conducting research studies within the overall scope of a research project under the supervision of the Principal Investigator or his/her designate, including but not limited to the following: -

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the laboratory.
• Perform tasks and support all aspects of the research project.
• Conduct accurate monitoring, documenting and reporting of experimental results and/or research findings.
• Assist researchers in programming, data analysis and literature review in various research projects.
• Contribute to project management, presentations and publications of research work.
• Assist with general upkeep of laboratory needs, maintain safety protocols, provide technical support and establish work procedures to ongoing research projects.
• Perform other related duties incidental to the work described therein.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with Honours in Science with minimum 2 years of relevant laboratory managerial experience.
• Previous working experience with Drosophila or mammalian cells is required.
• Have an extensive working experience in molecular biology
• Meticulous, well-organised and have good time management to work in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description

Highly motivated and creative postdoctoral candidates are sought to work at the Yang Zhang Lab, Cancer Science Institute of Singapore, School of Computing, and Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, at National University of Singapore.

Candidates, who are interested in artificial intelligence (AI) and deep machine learning, protein and RNA structural prediction, protein and peptide design and engineering, and/or protein-ligand docking and drug screening, are encouraged to apply. We are particularly interested in the development of new AI-based approaches to cancer therapeutics, including antibody design and discovery, T cell receptor T cell therapy (TCR-T), and peptide-drug conjugate (PDC) cancer therapy. Focus of our laboratory is more on new and creative algorithm/platform developments rather than application of existing programs. Therefore, skills in computational coding and creativity in scientific method design, together with interest in computational cancer medicine, are critical to the position. Job Description

• Consistently maintain regular observation and evaluation of infant/toddler’s development and growth progress
• Ensure safety of each child through close supervision, whether in the classroom setting, play area, or any other areas within the school compound
• Perform childcare / infant care routines in a prompt and hygienic manner that is consistent with the early years child development practices. These routines include diapering, feeding, bathing, hand washing, napping and transitioning between activities
• Maintain daily journal of milk feeds, solid feeds, diapering, etc., in accordance to relevance for each age group (Babies, Junior and Senior Infants)
• Plan and implement engaging learning experiences/exploration

Qualifications

• Certificate in Infant/Toddler Care and Development (CIT) / Higher Certificate in Infant Care (HCIC) / Advanced Certificate in Early Years (ACEY)
