Purpose of the post

Working in the group of Assistant Professor Qu Kun at the ID TRP and the Department of Biochemistry (https://medicine.nus.edu.sg/bch/faculty/qu-kun/), the Research Fellow will conduct a project aimed at understanding the immune response of respiratory viruses. The Qu lab is funded by the Presidential Young Professorship start-up award, National Medical Research Council Young Individual Research Grant, and Ministry of Education Academic Research Funds. We decipher dynamic and elusive viral infection mechanisms using cryo-electron microscopy, tomography and subtomogram averaging.
