JOB DESCRIPTION

The responsibility of this position is to drive and manage the Keppel submarine cable infrastructure projects which includes the following activities.

• Work with the Joint build partners, customers and internal business/commercial teams and plan for new subsea cable projects through diverse, secure and practical routes that meet all stakeholders needs and where there is a customer demand.

We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Concept Design Engineer to lead innovative design initiatives and support the Mechanical Integration Development team for hearing aids. This role will enhance the team’s design expertise and best practices through cutting-edge mechanical solutions.

What you will do

• Lead the design and development of Behind-The-Ear (BTE) hearing aid concepts, including plastic, metal, and rubber parts, using appropriate software
• Evaluate and integrate new technologies, conduct risk assessments, testing, and proof of concept
• Collaborate with suppliers, research institutions, and experts in hardware, acoustics, and simulation for innovation and development of future hearing aid technologies
• Analyze competitor products and formulate strategic initiatives for new technology in the hearing aid industry

What you bring

Experience

• Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (Product Design stream preferred)
• 5-7 years professional experience working in consumer product design and development
• Extensive design experience with metal, plastic, rubber, and electro-mechanical components, including decorative processes such as IMD, NCVM, and coatings

Job Description

* Reponsible for quality on-site start-up, installation, commissioning and maintenance of testing equipment, etc

* Perform trouble shooting, preventive maintenance and calibration on testing equipment.

* Continue to enhance program on machines to achieve highest performance and reliability results.

Qualifications

1. Min NITEC/Higher NITEC/Diploma in Electrical/Mechatronics/Electrical Engineering
