Required Skills

• Degree or Diploma in Electronics / Electrical Engineering with major in software programming or Computer Science with inclination for Industrial software, database
• Preferred with experience in SCADA software especially Ignition, Wonderware InTouch, System Platform, iFix, WinCC, PCS7, Cimplicity, Citect etc but we can accept if you have strong interest in graphics software.
• Preferred with experience in leading brands of PLC from Schneider, Siemens, Omron. Wago. Mitsubishi, IEC1131 Language.
• Candidate shall be have passions for programming languages, and at least intermediate level in programming skills, Have programming skills in VB, C, C++, Java, C# etc is a plus
• Knowledge in Cyber Security Implementation with tools like Firewall, Fortinet, Checkpoint, 1FA etc
• Knowledge and passion to learn new technology like Machine Learning and AI implementation, Computer Vision
• Knowledge in Electrical Design of Circuits from basic Ohms law to Electrical Starters DOL, VSD and Electrical Power Distribution Design.
• Experience is preferred, but no experience will be considered as we provide trainings. We hope to train you to be all-rounder to work independently.

Automation Engineer

Salary: $3500 to $5000

Working Days: 5 days, 9am to 6pm (may need go back office if need any support)

Key Responsibilities:

General Equipment

• Identifies or addresses malfunctions of plant operational equipment. Proactively involved in identifying the defects in the operational equipment and finding out ways in which can be rectified.
• Monitors plant equipment operation and performance, adjusting to performance specifications.
• Communicates the status of operating equipment to production supervisors or managers.
• Maintain logs and reports. work requests, or other records of work performed in the plant.
• propose improvements to prevent the re-occurrence of trouble, and target set not more than 3 times similar incidents.
• Coordinate with all contractors/supplies for in-house periodic maintenance including plant facilities and repairs.

PLC & Software

• Able to read and write Siemens S7 PLC & HMI codes.
• Knowledge of serial communication.
• Knowledge of programming languages

Other Operational Duties

• Maintain proper documentation
• Housekeeping of spare parts, tools, and accessories.
• Initiate and participate in continuous improvement projects as assigned by Managers.

Competencies

• Electrical design and drawing.
• Install, calibrate, program modification, operate, and simulate the industrial Robot such as FANUS using Siemens S7 PLC, and HMI.
• Work with Suppliers and Vendors to determine the selection of proper components.
• Perform installations/commissioning of machine/robot.

Travel:

• Travel for this position is up to 30%.
