• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in supporting, maintaining and implementing Network and/or Data Centre Facilities Management (Cisco/Alcatel/Juniper Inter-Networking Solutions) technical administration and support.
• Excellent understanding of common network technologies, including TCP/IP, IPsec, VRRP, HSRP, SNMP, NAT, Multicast, Sub-netting, Ethernet, Access-lists.
• In-Depth Working Knowledge and understanding of the following routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, ISIS, MPLS.
• Familiar with the setup and configuration of network security devices such as firewalls, wan optimisers, virtual private networks and authentication servers etc.

Job Summary:

The Principal Systems Engineer will be an integral member of our Engineering System Production Group team, taking a lead role in the design, analysis, and maintenance of our comprehensive system infrastructure. The role will require building a SPG presence in the APAC region by demonstrating the core values of what it means to be Engineering’s System Production. Principal Systems Engineer Responsibility’s:

• Developing an understanding of our customers’ challenges and requirements.
• Support learning and information distribution to support group.

Education & Experience:

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience.

• Executes the specific inspections & QC on materials, equipment and installation activities on site.
• Issues the relevant Quality Inspection Records and, when necessary, record non-conformances report to the production supervisor, project manager and relevant parties for action
• Ensure production team performs all relevant loop checks by requiring documentary evidence of such checks signed off
• Ensure production team performs completed cable connector tests of continuity, insulation resistance, and other electrical testing and require documentary evidence of such tests signed off
• Performs visual inspections, dimensional test, checks rating and material for connection, ensuring the connectors, PCBA and other products comply to standards and record noncompliance in Inspection report & follow up to ensure rectification
• Ensure documentary evidence of production team calibration of instruments for relevant processes and signed off by legitimate 3rd party measurement companies
• Witness the verification tests, controls and inspections carried out to evaluate the integrity of the QA/QC processes for both offsite & onsite at depots and workshops
• Check conformity with the Quality Control Plan, obtain the relevant documentation, check procedures and equipment to be used in tests, controls and inspections, manage documents certifying tests, controls and inspections.

• To monitor and supervise sub contractors’ work progression according to shop drawings, method statements, material and samples
