About the Role

The Information Technology Group (ITG) is a collection of people, processes and technology investments that are designed to achieve the business goals of FTI Consulting. ROLES

Software Engineering

Transform our business and work across all areas of the firm to design and implement high-quality, scalable and smart solutions. Leveraging both internal and open source services, we design and develop applications capable of building, maintaining, and processing large & complex data sets. Ensuring we have the most up-to-date and actionable information, we constantly strive to boost performance and exceed industry standards in order to meet our clients’ evolving needs. We look for ways to improve our operations and enhance our client offerings through internal and external platforms as we build and expand the capacity for data mining, anomaly detection, and business intelligence.

System Engineering

Systems engineers work in the wide core of systems necessary to support and maintain business operations throughout the firm. As a systems engineer, you have the immediate opportunity to design, develop, implement and own a variety of systems which ensure uninterrupted operation of all our lines of business.

In this role you will explore public and private cloud, networks, storage, compute, big data, application messaging and more. Our engineers work on a variety of challenging problems from building our data infrastructure, to implementing public and private cloud-based solutions, to providing seamless, on-demand scaling of our applications.

Join our systems engineers and write enterprise level code in a variety of programming languages with high-scalability, testing and robustness.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Graduating from August 2023 to July 2024* with a Bachelor or Master Degree

· Preferred degree in Computer Science, Technology, Math, Statistics and/or Engineering

· No full time work experience (excluding internship experience)

· Interest and passionate in working in financial industry and technology

· Ability to work in a dynamic global environment with a focus on teamwork

· Impeccable attention to detail and excellent problem solving and analytical skills

· Ability to grasp complex issues, interpret information and communicate commercial and operational issues

· Display creativity and entrepreneurial spirit

· Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic and changing organization

· A proactive approach and a high level of enthusiasm

· Proficient with suite of Microsoft Office software and other computer skills

· Preferred technical skills in JavaTM technology, C, C++, UNIX®, Microsoft® technology, Perl, XML, HTML, Visual Basic, VBScript and N-tier architecture, among others.
