Job Summary

The Solar Project Engineer will oversee the engineering, design, and technical aspects of solar projects from initiation to completion. This role requires close collaboration with project managers, design teams, and installation crews to ensure that each project is executed to the highest standards, safely, efficiently, and within budget. Key Responsibilities

1. Project Design and Engineering

• Develop and review detailed designs for solar PV systems, including single-line diagrams, layouts, and schematics.
• Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments, including shading analysis, solar irradiance, and other site-specific conditions.
• Work with design software (e.g., AutoCAD, PVsyst, Helioscope, or similar) to model and optimize system performance.
• Select appropriate system components (e.g., inverters, solar panels, mounting structures) based on project requirements, budget, and site conditions.

Required Qualifications

Education and Experience

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in design and simulation software (e.g., AutoCAD, PVsyst, Helioscope).
