The “Application Engineer – LF Emag” is responsible for leveraging expert-level engineering knowledge and relationships to help customers solving engineering problems using Ansys Electromagnetics Products. You will be a part of our positive, dynamic team of enthusiastic and passionate engineers striving to deliver highest quality solutions to our customers, advancing your knowledge, experience, and your impact on the success of our customers and CADFEM.
Responsibilities
· Function as a specialist in the use and application of ANSYS LF-Emag simulation tools (Maxwell, Motor-CAD, Q3D).
· Lead/Assist in coordinating and executing all technical activities throughout the sales opportunity such as technical discovery, product presentations, demonstrations and evaluations.
· Create and demonstrate simulation solutions to improve and expand customer engineer workflows and capabilities, in support of the software sales process
· Work collaboratively with customers to ensure their successful use of ANSYS Software products and develop/strengthen long-term relationships with customers
· Instruct training classes on the usage of ANSYS LF Emag products
· Guide/Support customers right from problem definition to problem setup, solution, visualization and interpretation, in order to improve customers’ productivity and satisfaction.

Qualifications
· Bachelor or Master’s degree in Electrical engineering discipline
· Good knowledge of electromagnetic fields, circuits, electric machines, and numerical methods
· Demonstrated use of ANSYS Maxwell or a similar 3D electromagnetics tool would be an added advantage
· Engaging personality, engineering curiosity and willingness for continuous learning
· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as with others in a diverse team environment
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to facilitate and conduct webinars and presentations to customers
· Demonstrated skills in writing and presenting in fluent English
· Logical problem-solving approach and the ability to clearly communicate the situation and proposed solution to the customer
· Projects a professional image and strong business acumen during customer interactions
· Possesses a sense of urgency, strong organizational and follow up skills
· Ability to travel up to 30%
