Responsibilities:

• Responsible for ensuring highest possible uptime and availability for mechanical equipment in the scrap processing plant.
• Responsible for reliability is highest possible and where needed facilities / perform root cause investigations to increase reliability and general performance of equipment.
• Ensure incident free and reliable operation, including timely and proper maintenance of systems.
• Responsible for implementing Maintenance Excellence by aligning with International Best Practice on mechanical equipment.
• Ensure future maintenance activities are proactively planned, prepared and scheduled with the required level of equipment integrity and reliability.
• Ensure liaison with production team and other stakeholders to stay updated on the on-going maintenance activities.
• Ensure equipment documentation and Preventive Maintenance (PM) procedure are constantly updated.

The QA Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing all quality assurance activities within the organization, ensuring that products and services meet all quality standards. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and ISO certification processes, driving continuous improvement and compliance across the organization. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the company meets regulatory and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Quality Management System (QMS):Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in alignment with ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, etc.).
  Regularly audit and review QMS processes to ensure continuous improvement and compliance.
  Ensure documentation, procedures, and processes align with QMS requirements.
  
• ISO Certification Management:Lead and manage the ISO certification process, including initial certification, recertification, and internal audits.
  Coordinate with external certification bodies and manage relationships to ensure the company's certification status is maintained.
  Provide guidance and training to staff regarding ISO requirements and their roles in maintaining certification.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.

• Experience:Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in quality assurance, with at least 3-5 years in a management role.
  Proven experience in managing QMS and ISO certification processes in manufacturing, engineering, or production environments.
  
• Technical Skills:In-depth knowledge of ISO standards, especially ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), or related certifications.
  Proficiency in quality assurance methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean, FMEA, and root cause analysis.

• Perform engineering, technical project preparation and execution support of offshore projects, i.e. heavy lift installation projects.

• Develop and maintain good relationships with Clients and Subcontractors.

• Liaise with internal stakeholders to identify and mobilize project equipment.

• Develop execution methods for offshore projects, selection of required equipment, concept and detail design of lifting arrangements etc.

• Planning, coordination and control of assigned work and definition of required resources and competences for own people and subcontractors.

• Review and organize reviews of internal and external deliverables (drawings, reports and procedures).

• Perform technical management of subcontractors from specification to completion of function test of equipment and hand-over to user.

• Providing inputs to planning team to prepare and maintain Project schedule.
