KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Research Engineer specializing in flexible perovskite solar cells, your responsibilities will revolve around conducting research, development, and optimization of this emerging technology. Here are some key job scopes for this position:

· Optimize deposition techniques, such as solution processing, vacuum deposition, or printing methods, to achieve uniform and high-quality perovskite thin films on flexible substrates.

· Investigate new materials, device architectures, and manufacturing methods to improve the overall performance and reliability of flexible perovskite solar cells.

· Investigate encapsulation strategies and barrier materials to protect flexible perovskite solar cells from degradation.

· Design and execute experiments to fabricate and characterize flexible perovskite solar cells.

· Conduct accelerated aging tests and reliability studies to evaluate long-term stability and durability of the devices.

· Scale up procedures from lab-scale to manufacturing scale.

· Conceptualize and realize new device configurations with enhanced stability and efficiency

· Report writing and results presentation

· Regular maintaining of research and study records, conceptualize, execute and interpret scientific experiments

· Work closely with internal colleagues in Singapore and China to work in company target.

COMPETENCIES AND QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

· Master, PhD in Materials Science, Chemistry or related fields with in-depth knowledge of materials (especially perovskites), device physics and processing.

· Deep understanding of all kind of perovskite materials and interface engineering. Experience in flexible perovskite solar cells and low-temperature process/deposition is a plus.

· Expertise in device making and materials characterizations.

· Good skills in time management, experiment design and data analysis.

· Good communication and interpersonal skills.

About the role

This position is for an Engineering Assistant, who is responsible for scheduling and planning of technician daily schedules. Uses detailed company guidelines to perform basic on-site preventative maintenance, routine repair, and calibration after installation.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Engineering Assistant, you’ll be responsible for:

• Uses detailed company guidelines to perform basic on-site preventative maintenance, routine repair, and calibration after installation.
• Assists with inspecting equipment on a regular basis.
• Assists with maintenance of equipment logs that record performance problems, repairs, calibrations, or tests and submits weekly reports summarizing these activities.
• Scheduling of technician work schedule, for dispatching of work order through salesforce & service max platform.
• Arranging logistic required for field service including ordering of part, issuing of parts to field staff/ subcontractors, arranging delivery of required equipment or part.
• Arrange and raising Purchase Order for subcontractors for delivery and service.
• Coordination with customer on service delivery date including all required documentation for work (Permit to work, Risk Assessments and etc).
• Review entries of technician's hour and time sheets.
• Create the work order for new jobsite.
• Ensure customer service report (CSR) / service chits uploaded for monthly invoicing.
• Manage other administrative tasks as required such as filed staff's leave, tools request, safety related request in SAP system.
• Support field staffs for any required assistance.
• Backup of Engineer during their absence.
• Support field service team for arrangement after office hours in the event of critical

Primary Job Functions

• Cost Reporting of capital expenditure projects (equipment & construction) including PM Group fees and sub-consultants
• Management of our Change Control procedures and tools and associated deliverables
• Management of our PM Group Man-hour Control and Productivity Measurement procedures and tools and associated deliverables
• Processing Contractor, Vendor and Sub-consultant invoices and payments for multiple Projects
• Receive, sort and reconcile invoices and supporting documentation against purchase order terms and conditions, payment milestones and goods receipt notifications
• Distribute and track invoices to various Project owners / leads across multiple projects for approval
• Perform Supplier account reconciliations and work with Purchasing Team and Suppliers to resolve any issues
• Responds to and resolve enquiries from Suppliers, Procurement, and Finance departments in a professional and timely manner
• Preparation of monthly statements and reconciliation of accounts for month end Reporting
• Take ownership of designated tasks and projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience, preferably in the Purchasing or Project Controls department
• Ability to regularly interact with staff, management and clients to provide or obtain related information
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel
• Strong work ethic, sense of responsibility and confidentiality
