Basic Functions

The senior project engineer will be responsible in the planning and execution of all local UPS related installation projects. He will provide the support to the sales and service team and advise on project feasibility study, cost estimation and manage submittals for approval upon order.

Responsibilities

• Tenders – Work as part of tender team to provide commercial inputs in preparation for bid. This shall include working with other teams on technical specification, ensure completeness from suppliers’ scope of supply to meet technical requirements, update cashflow and forex management in cost estimate and business leaders to prepare bid proposal in a timely manner.
• Claim management – Provide a supporting role to Project Team in commercial resolution of claims and issues from customers and/ or vendors. This shall include drafting of letters, contracts and settlement agreement with legal and project team.
• Project execution – Commercial commitment to provide supporting role to Project Manager. This shall include purchases of major equipment and engage in sub-contracting services, invoicing, forecasting of monthly cashflow and estimation of completion.
