• Liaise with client, consultants, main contractor and sub-contractor in design works
• Provide value engineering proposals during tender and ongoing projects
• Coordinate and assist the project team regarding on site works
• Ensure site works are according to the design calculations
• Comply with relevant design code(s) and authorities' requirements in Singapore
• Check through shop drawings and ensure drawings are according to the design calculation
• Submit calculations and necessary submissions to BCA and relevant authorities in order to get approval on time
• Prepare As-built drawings/calculation for submission to the relevant authorities
• Coordinate closely with the project team to ensure that design calculations and drawings are timely met
• Liaise with the client as and when necessary for design clarification
• Timely submission to authorities when required

Requirements

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering/Architectural
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Façade Design/Engineering, Curtain Wall & Aluminium Cladding
• Good sketching skills and an ability to communicate thoughts and technical ideas concisely
• Familiar with Singapore and International Standard design Code and authorities’ requirements
• Good communication skills essential for team-based working
• Highly motivated, proactive and willing to take on new challenges
• Good time management habits and ability to multi-task
• Core interest in the façade industry with emphasis on detailing and engineering
• Analytical problem solving
• Proficient in MS Office suite, AutoCAD and Staadpro

Responsibilities

• Managing full spectrum of financial reporting inclusive preparation of accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets with the relevant schedules
• Ensure accurate recording of project cost to the respective projects, conduct monthly variances analysis and taking necessary preventive measures as needs through constant communication with the project team
• Preparation of project cash flow and overall company’s cashflow ensuring liquidity of the company for its’ operations and obligations are met
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, relevant regulatory requirements, internal controls adhered and safeguard company’s resources.
• Ensure preparation and timely submission of GST, ECI, withholding taxes and corporate income taxes
• Coordinate and develop project budgets for the projects undertaken by the company
• Develop yearly budget, rolling forecast, perform monthly review and advise on any deviances and counter measures needed to achieve the target
• Oversee the preparation of monthly workers payroll ensuring wages, overtime, allowances, recoverable are accurately computed and cost are accurately distributed to the respective projects.
• Prepare monthly staff payroll ensuring salaries and allowances are accurately computed and distributed to the respective projects and overhead.
• Preparation and submission of monthly CPF, SDL and donations within due dates
• Preparation and submission of IR21as and when required and yearly IR8A auto inclusion within the due date
• Assist is preparation and submission of necessary government grants which includes attending and clearing the queries by the grant auditor.
• Assist in compiling and preparation of information required for submission of surveys to various government agencies
• Conduct random internal audit to test if internal control system is effective and are strictly always adhered by all parties, to identify key issues for immediate corrective actions
• Liaise with external parties such as company secretaries, tax agents, bankers and auditors as required
• Assist to oversee general office administrative function not limited to insurances, transportation, permits & licenses etc
• Other duties and functions which may be assigned from time to time by the management

REQUIREMENTS

• At least 5 to 8 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree or Professional Accounting qualification
• Good knowledge of financial reporting standards, detailed orientated, analytical skills and ability to work within timeline
• Experienced in cost method financial reporting and consistent in accounting entries
• Experienced in handling transactions in multiple currencies and requirement for financial reporting
• Good understanding of construction processes and abilility to communicate effectively with the project team ensuring project timelines are met
• Ability to analyse and reason out variances between project revenues and expenses and make constant follow up with the project team to address the gap
• Proficient in MS Office applications and hand on with ERP systems and QuickBooks
• Ability to multitask and prioritize things to meet the given timeline

Scope:

• Provide supervision services for all geotechnical works to ensure that contractors complies with contract/authorities'/agencies' requirements
• Oversee the geotechnical team and personnel
• Review all drawings and specifications and highlight any discrepancies, non-workable and/or missing details to OIC and the QP(D)s and QP(S)
• Review and comment on all construction method statements, risk assessmentsfor works, workplans, design for safety (DfS) workshop and SOP proposals
• Provide all relevant endorsements required by authorities/agencies/client
• Assist QPD for application of TOP and CSC
• Prepare site supervision plan and supervise all works directed by OIC
• Monitor project progress to ensure timely completion and prepare necessary site progress and status report for update to client
• Adhere to regulations and requirements of all stakeholders for any supervision work while ensuring proper supervision
• Monitor contractors' safety performance and participate actively in site safety management
• Conduct roving safety inspections, emergency & incident response and facts finding
• Report any accident/incident/near miss on site

Requirements

• Accredited with Resident Engineer certification under Joint Accreditation Committee of the Institution of Engineers Singapore
• Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health Management in Construction Industry Course (bizSAFE Level 2) or equivalent
• Registered as Workplace safety and health officer with MOM
• Minimum 10 years of experience , of which at least 8 years in major construction works in tunnels and deep excavation and foundation
• Conversant with statutory code and requirements for site supervision, quality control procedures, construction administration and submission of progress report
• Strong leadership skills
• Familiar with all procedures in the Workplace Safety & Health Manual
