Key Responsibilities:

• Prior experience in the oil & gas sector is preferred, with knowledge and expertise in coiled tubing equipment and hydraulic workover systems highly desirable.
• In-depth understanding and hands-on experience with microprocessor and controller-based systems, including system architecture, components, and interfaces.
• Ability to design and implement solutions using fundamental embedded programming concepts.
• Proficiency in firmware programming with C language and basic assembly language skills
• Experience with embedded debugging IDE, such as TI Code Composer Studio.
• Hands-on experience in the design of high-temperature electronic systems, encompassing component selection, qualification, and PCB assembly practices.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, P&IDs, flow charts, and cause-and-effect diagrams.

Required Expertise:

• Analyse system & subsystem requirements, identify features, break down task lists and provide schedule estimations.
• Perform design improvements to our existing products, in areas of electrical/electronic and motor control system.
• Troubleshoot issues, provide design solutions, verify and validate solution and coordinate implementation.
• Involve in the design and fabrication of jigs and fixtures for production assembly and test.
• Perform supplier sourcing and qualification for assembly/sub assembly/part.
• Proficiency in common PCB design CAD tools, with the ability to comprehend circuit functionality through schematic analysis. Understanding of PCB layout practices to minimize noise, reflection, crosstalk, and ground bounce.
• Experience with Motion Control System integration and testing
• Knowledge and hands-on experience with common interface protocols, such as I2C, SPI, RS485, RS232, CAN, USB, etc.
• Familiarity with sensor analog front interfaces and basic concepts of sensor calibration.
• Basic understanding of various filters, amplifier topologies, and architecture.
• Ability to perform simulations to verify designs.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience with ADC, DAC, LDO, and switching power supply topologies.
• Microcontroller FW programming will be a plus.

Education Requirement:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar discipline and must have 2-5 years of work-related experience. Completion of a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or similar discipline is preferred.
