Job Description
Deskside Environment at the Service Site:
1. Install, configure, support, maintain, and troubleshoot deskside devices, including laptops, desktops, printers, PADs, and deskside IP phones.
2. Provide support for operating systems and standard office desktop software.
3. Assist in setting up and troubleshooting mail clients and establishing email connectivity.
4. Offer support to users for video conferencing, video meetings, and projector installations.
5. Help identify and resolve issues related to accessing network resources, files, websites, and online applications.
6. Provide "smart hands" support when necessary.
7. Provide "smart hands" support within the computer room and network environment.
Requirements
Deskside Support Expertise:
Proficient in the installation, configuration, support, maintenance, and troubleshooting of various deskside devices, such as laptops, desktops, printers, PADs, and deskside IP phones.
Operating System and Software Support: Experienced in providing comprehensive support for operating systems and standard office desktop software.
Email Configuration: Adept at setting up and troubleshooting mail clients, ensuring seamless email connectivity for users.
Collaborative Technologies: Skilled in offering support for video conferencing, video meetings, and projector installations to enhance user collaboration.
Network Accessibility: Capable of identifying and resolving issues related to accessing network resources, files, websites, and online applications.
Smart Hands Support: Ready to provide hands-on assistance ("smart hands" support) when required, both within the deskside environment and the computer room or network environment.
