Position: EHS / Process Safety Engineer

We are currently expanding our team and are looking for an EHS / Process Safety Engineer to support projects on-site with a client.

In summary, you will be involved in activities such as process safety analyses, reviews, corrective and preventative solutions, as well as ensuring compliance according to the industry's standards and regulations. Your expertise will lend a hand in tactical problem-solving, effective communication, and creating a progressive growth culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop internal QRA and safety case work processes.
• Coordinate and conduct safety case reports for process units.
• Conduct and develop process safety trainings for frontline technicians/supervisors and site verifications.
• Command Comprehensive Risk Assessment Programs, such as Process Hazard Analysis (PHAs), Layer of Protection Analysis (LOPA), and/or Safety Relief Reviews (SRR) and generate recommendations for safety system upgrades.
• Monitor, evaluate and improve safety measures, risk analysis and regulatory compliance within the plant facility.
• Identify and collect process safety metrics, develop and sustain site dashboard for key program, monitors EHS improvement of assigned processes.
• Complete and reviews process safety incident investigation and EHSS assessment screening for management of change.
• Conduct planned site audit/inspection/Gemba, to ensure that site comply with applicable Process Safety requirements and corporate policies, utilize best-industrial practices and best available techniques to identify and manage risk, and conform to company directives and standards

Requirements:

• Degree related to Science or Engineering.
• Good knowledge and experience in GMP facilities.
• At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing, and biopharmaceutical industries.

Project contract based (start from 29 Jan, estimated 27 months until project completion)

Project Engineer

Work Location: Changi Naval Base

Working days: 6 days 8am to 5pm

Salary: $3500 to $5000 (depends on experience)

Requirements

Diploma/Degree/Master in Civil & Engineering or equivalent, recognized universities under the BCA, Possess quantity surveying skills is a plus.

Experience in a marine construction company is favourable

Proficient in Microsoft Office, MS Project and AutoCAD

Job Description

Attend meetings with client, consultants & subcontractor to ensure that all project requirements are compiled and executed accordingly

Able to interpret drawing and identify discrepancy within all trades and come out with a solution

Be responsible for the planning, scheduling, monitoring, controlling and coordination of works and ensure timely completion

To lead a team of supervisors/ electricians/ technicians to carry out their works accurately and timely to ensure that works on site are carried out according to client requirement

Manage end to end delivery of project through defined project scope, detailed project plan & seek stakeholder’s agreement for sign-off

Track project status to ensure delivery is on track and provide regular project updates

Able to handle a few minor projects concurrently

Be responsible for the planning, scheduling, controlling and coordinating of building services related works in terms of preventive / breakdown / A&A Works

Liaise and hold meetings with clients, Managing Agent & Sub contractor to ensure that all requirements by clients and relevant authorities are adhered

Monitor, track, and provide timely project progress reports to the management

Good knowledge and experienced in building related works such as civil engineering, structural, architectural, building repair, piling, A&A, plumbing works etc.

Other ad-hoc duties as per assigned
