Reporting to the QA/QC Manager, the candidate will be responsible for assuring the implementation and compliance with the Quality Assurance System and for scope of work related to mechanical items. 

It is expected the candidate will be a very detailed and organized individual with extensive previous experience working as a QA/QC on large, international projects with deep knowledge of mechanical systems. There will be a significant amount of “hands on” work understanding and implementing the VDC QA/QC systems. Reporting to the BMS Project Manager, the candidate will be accountable for ensuring the work required; such as, submittals, RFI’s, coordination drawings, updating documents, etc., are complete, ready, and approved for the Building Management Systems (BMS) Subcontractors to perform their scope of work in the strictest of compliance to the contract documents.  This role is focused on working with the Senior Commissioning Manager and BMS Project Manager who are responsible for the BMS Subcontractor operations and installation for a large complex data center project, having stringent technical requirements.

It is expected the candidate will be a very detailed individual with previous experience working as a MEP Project Engineer on data center projects and or other complex technical projects.  There will be a significant amount of “hands on” work coordinating approved design documents and ensuring installed work in the field comply with such documents.  The candidate must have strong Emotional Quotient (EQ) skills and be able to relate to and communicate with the client, the Fortis Construction Pte. Role

You will be part of a team to provide facilities management services to our client's sites. You will be required to carry out regular inspections to the sites and its facilities to maintain a high service delivery level. You will supervise and manage contractors on the scheduled maintenance of various functions and systems within the sites.

Responsibilities and Tasks

1. Reporting to Operations Executive and/or Operations Manager.
2. Ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of BMS, ACMV equipment (ie. Chillers, pumps, AHU, FCU, etc. are functioning as per scheduled).
3. Maintain/repair plumbing & sanitary systems to avoid water damage and restore full use of water fixtures if required.
4. General maintenance/repair of electrical fixtures and fittings.
5. General maintenance/repair of wall, ceiling and floor finishes.
6. Monitor all work being performed by term contractors, tenant’s service contractors, tenant’s fit-out and reinstatement works.
7. Attend to tenant’s request and feedback.
8. Responsible for alerting the management of any unusual occurrence or damage that have taken place or that may occur (ie. faulty of lifts, building exit route, etc.)

6. Able to perform shift work which includes working on Saturday, Sunday and on Public Holiday.
