Job Description

• Execute the entire selling process of identifying customers through sales leads, referrals, cold calls, etc., and creating demand and capturing orders by building relationships and formulating product solutions and specifications based on customers' needs so as to ensure the meeting of sales quota and contribution towards sales revenue.
• Prepare quotations and tenders, negotiate terms and check all commercial terms of offer and order of acceptance so as to ensure compliance with Levels of Authority and other relevant MIS policies.
• Develop and/or enhance product presentation materials and participate in sales meetings with customers to do sales pitch, assess and address customers' needs so as to provide feasible technical solutions and close sales deal in a professional manner.

This includes arranging coordination meetings between the customers and the responsible Project Engineer(s).
• Complete data and information in the Project Management and ProlSO database to ensure project details are constantly updated and readily available for follow up and viewing by all relevant parties involved in the project.
• Actively use the Customer Relationship Management (C4C) tool in monitoring, analysing and communicating monthly sales data in daily work to manage personal targets and contribute to product and service planning.
• Monitor the debtors' list periodically and coordinate with Finance Department to ensure timely invoicing and follow up with customers on all overdue accounts (whenever required) so that overdue debts can be promptly collected and settled.
• Establish and maintain long-term customer satisfaction by way of periodic visits to customers to monitor performance of delivered products and services.
• Participate with a representative from Project and/or Service Department to ensure that handover of projects to customers are proper and complete so that all outstanding issues (if any) are fully resolved during the handover.
• Ensure that procedures and instructions in the QMS and EHS are adhered to and carried out in compliance with the specified requirements.

Qualification & Experience

General Description

The incumbent is responsible to provide technical process support to the Production Shift teams and the Facility Owner of the process area in the LNG Terminal.

Roles and Responsbilities

The incumbent shall be responsible for, but not limited to the following scope of tasks and duties:

• Provide technical support for routine and non-routine production activities and develop best practices to improve production safety, reliability and efficiency.
• Evaluate current production activities, make recommendations and execute continuous process improvements in the areas of safety initiatives, equipment reliability and operational excellence.

Work Experience

• Minimum of eight (8) years practical experience in process engineering function in an oil, gas or petrochemical industries.
• Conversant with local/international codes, regulations, standards, best practices in the process.
• Good knowledge of commissioning, operations and troubleshooting of a variety of large and complex processes in the oil, gas or petrochemical industry is critical.
• Knowledge of the LNG / natural gas or other hydrocarbon industries would be advantageous. Candidates with experience in cryogenic plant design, commissioning and start-up are preferred.

2. Initiate product reviews. Verifies and test products. Responsible for validation, trial run for new projects and customers.

3. Responsible for change control process and procedure development and implementation.

4. Responsible for new job development.

5. Provide technical support to customers.

6. Provide QA support to project development

7. Involved in new machine installation and process improvements.

8. Other related duties as assigned by the managing director/ QA manager

9. Location: Tuas with Company transport provided.

• Optimize machine usage with WIP loading plan.
• Plan job flow, hours estimation and schedule process timeline using TTPS and OPS to procedure.
• Arrange outsource process requisition as per team’s decision to assist resolve bottleneck issues.
• Design drawings and job folder issuance.
• Monitor job progress & feedback timely to person-in-charge.
• Calculate internal cost estimates to justify for sub-out.
• Plan and ensure raw material, mold base and standard component requisitions are as per schedule.
• Purchase toolroom accessories and negotiate prices and prepare Purchase Requisitions.
• Monitor quality and feedback timely to person-in-charge.
• Involve in Continuous Improvement Programme.
• Update tooling status on daily basis.
• Prepare weekly machine downtime report to General Manager.
• Reject outsource request from operation if capacity does not allow or has not been agreed upon or MRR is not produced.
• Outsource if internal capacity is deemed overloaded.
• Re-prioritize job schedule according to superior’s request as per customer’s requirement.
• Reject raw materials, mold bases and standard components that do not meet requirements.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Mold design & fabrication processes, molding processes, project management.
• Mold making processes with basic machining knowledge.
• Able to interpret 2D drawings.
• Independent with good initiative and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Job descriptions:

• Perform CNC programming for precision parts as per drawing or technical specification.
• Perform CNC milling & lathe programming and setting of CNC machines.
• Check materials and tools required to perform programming.
• Set parameters (feed rate, speed, etc) according to materials and tools selection in order to achieve optimum speed.
• Perform progressive machining operations for precision parts.
• Troubleshooting.
• Perform details machining process plan and estimate cycle time.
• Technical support for daily manufacturing process including design jig & fixtures.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by Supervisor / Manager

Requirements:

• Diploma qualification in Precision Machining or Mechanical engineering or Equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of CNC Machine working experience in precision engineering manufacturing environment
• Basic knowledge on CNC milling programming and CNC turning programming.
• Under standard mechanical drawing, assembly and part level
• Familiar with CAM software like Mastercam & UG is an advantage
• Ability to muti-task
• Strong team player and able to work independently
