The Core Custody Product team focuses on developing custody products for the Custody business lines, bother Hub and Domestic. This role is an intermediate level position in Markets Treasury, responsible for overseeing the balance sheet and managing related risks, assisting in managing and decision taking in AFS and trading books. The overall objective of this role is to ensure liquidity, manage interest rate risk from balance sheet and cooperate with the team to deliver on budgeted revenues in line with all regulatory requirements and limits.

The Product Sales Specialist is a regional sales role that is part of the global Cash & Inside Sales team. The sales enablement team works closely with the Securities Services Sales, Client Executives and Account Managers. We provide expertise in Sales Proposals (RFPs) and DDQ management and delivery – including executive summaries, proposal documents, pitches and aligned reporting. Key Responsibilities

You will be the senior lead in Asia, leading a team who will be accountable for the development of RFPs/DDQs/Pitches/Exec Summaries. As an VP you will be expected to manage complex, strategic questionnaires yourself, in addition to providing guidance and escalation to the rest of the local team. The Collateral Risk Manager is a key member of the in-business credit risk function responsible for the collateral that underpins Citigroup’s wholesale lending and trading activities in the APAC region. The ICM Hedge Fund (HF) Portfolio Manager SVP / VP is responsible for managing Citi’s credit risk to a portfolio of the firm’s most complex and large Hedge Fund/Private Equity relationships. Primary activities include credit due diligence, credit reviews, credit approvals and monitoring of the portfolio within the risk appetite of the overall business strategy.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Citi’s business lines across all products, with a particular focus on Prime Brokerage, as well as 2nd LoD Risk Management
• Lead the client credit relationship in partnership with sales and trading and 2nd LoD credit risk.
• Engage in extensive client-interface through the due diligence meetings, negotiation of credit structures and documentation, including ISDA’s, Derivatives Clearing, FCM and Repo documents
• Conduct client diligence and prepare Credit Approval Memo (CAM) and risk rating scorecards.
• Evaluate and provide approval for trading activities, including recommending margin requirements and structural enhancements
• Accountable for evaluating the risk of hedge fund portfolios and managing credit risk related to client lending, trading, clearing, prime brokerage, and custody operations
• Monitor compliance with trading agreements (NAV and/or performance ATEs, disclosure requirements) and Limits excesses
• Recommend remediation plan for Limits and ATE breaches and remediate breaches in accordance with the plan
• Report on limit excesses and limit excess aging
• Review and monitor margin disputes, and establish Margin tolerance threshold for select clients where applicable
• Assist with addressing FCR, IA and regulatory reviews and questions
• Assist the Team Head in presentations and industry reports given to senior management, and regulatory reporting requirements
• Provide leadership and guidance to more junior staff
• Making prudent risk evaluations while making business decisions, taking into account the firm’s image and protecting Citigroup, clients and assets by ensuring adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and polices, act with ethical integrity, and transparently handling, reporting and managing control issues

Qualifications:

• 5 to 10+ years of experience in financial services and risk management required
• Strong interest in the Hedge Fund /alternative asset management sector
• Extensive years of previous work experience in related field and ability to work independently on complex risk requests
• Strong communication skill
• Good understanding of Capital Markets trading and lending products, particularly in derivatives, structured and other complex products traded by Hedge Funds
• Quantitative and intuitive skills in the risks inherent in capital markets products, transactions, and positions
• Strong grasp of current technologies including stress testing
• Real sense of how to support business growth, within risk appetite parameters
• Motivated and confident to work within a dynamic risk sector
• Attention to detail unaffected by high pressure situations
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access
• Role is evaluated depending on the candidate's skillset and qualifications and can be SVP/VP.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
• Master's degree preferred

• The Project Manager/ Regional Implementation Manager is expected to manage highly complex and time-sensitive client projects.
• The Project Manager will manage a portfolio of regional and/or global client projects numbering from approximately 10-20, depending on scope and complexity, with highest level of quality and professionalism.
• Ensure timely delivery of projects and total client satisfaction: Implement client objectives within standard guidelines and timeframes
• Act as an advisor to the client in building the overall structure of the project and fine tune the solution to fit the client's requirements.
• Act as the primary interface to client, while coordinating all internal and external project related activities.
• Support Sales effort by participating as a part of the deal team to prepare client pitches.
• Comply with all audit, regulatory and compliance directives.
• Appropriately manage and resolve issues and escalations raised throughout the project through proper issue tracking and escalation channels.
• Continuously seek to identify opportunities for efficiency and control improvements in the process and Implement such improvements whenever possible.

Qualifications

• Seasoned and experienced client management professional with project management experience is good to have.
• In-depth knowledge and experience with cash/trade products and business processes.
• Strong influencing skills to manage virtual teams.
• Expert knowledge of MS Office products, including MS Project.
• Certified Project Management training /certification (i.e. Project Management Professional - PMP, Prince 2 Practitioner, or equivalent) preferred.
• A technical background and a strong understanding of human and system interfacing, interaction and design are also highly desirable.
• Since the clientele will involve handling Mandarin speaking clients, business-level proficiency in Mandarin is preferred.

Education
