Requirement

• Minimum GCE ‘O’ qualification
• Possess Certificate in General Insurance will be an added advantage
• Proficient in MS Office

Job Responsibilities:

• Handle full set of Accounts including General Ledger and Accounts Receivable function
• Track, monitor and account for government grants and funds
• Perform monthly reconciliation of sales and payroll record
• Update reports / schedules / projects movement from generated financial reports
• Preparation of quarterly GST report
• Maintain Fixed Assets Register reports by performing monthly generation of depreciation and bond from accounting system
• Assist in other ad hoc work assignments
• Liaise / Coordinate with clients, auditors and internal staff

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Accountancy/ Finance/ Business Administration or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
• Proficient in MS applications (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Meticulous and numerically inclined
• Good in communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in oral and written in both English and Mandarin
• Pleasant and outgoing personality with the initiative to provide assistance to other colleagues
• Independent, reliable, organized and pays attention to details
• Ability to multitask and have sense of urgency to deliver results in a timely manner
• Knowledge in MYOB and SAP is a must

Responsibility

• Provide accurate and timely assessment of Accident & Health insurance claims within prescribed turnaround time
• Evaluate and negotiate the resolution of claims, while mitigating damages to achieve cost-effective claim outcomes
• Obtain reserving, settlement and payment authority in accordance with authority level within applicable Service Level Agreement
• Determine settlement amount and resolve claims settlement disputes using various mechanism such as arbitration and mediation (if any)
• Manage appeal process for rejected claims
• Detect potential fraudulent claims in line with organization policies and procedures
• Manage customer communications on claims matter
• Liaise with third party service providers and resolve issues in connection with claims processes and procedures
• Conduct regular file review
• Exercise good claims management to achieve a desired claims result

Requirement

• At least Diploma and above
• Possess Certificate in General Insurance and Health Insurance certificate
• At least 1 year of claims assessment experience
• At least 5 years of claims assessment experience ( for Senior Executive)
• Qualifications in Medical related courses or Experience in handling Medical Claims will be an added advantage
• Good communication, problem-solving, analytical and negotiation skills
