Roles and Responsiblities

The Finance Manager's roles in a private equity fund management set up encompasses the following:

1. Accounting, reporting, internal control, administration and compliance functions for the funds and related investment portfolios that the Crest group manages. The Employee shall undertake specific projects, for instance, related to portfolio companies that may be assigned from time to time;
2. Managing treasury function and monitoring risk/return KPIs of various asset portfolios; and
3. Supporting the CEO in communications with stakeholders and government agencies.

Who Are We Looking for?

• Degree in Finance, Accounting or any other relevant equivalent qualifications
• CPA, ACCA, or other relevant certification
• Prior experience in Big Four will be an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of working experience (experience in asset management or fund adminstration will be preferred)
• Strong ability to work under pressure and assure deliverable within a given time frame.

The Role:

Responsibilities:

Accounting & Reporting (30%):

• Supporting the day to day general ledger accounting and reconciliation, financial reporting and analysis – Using QuickBooks (or Xero)
• Support in all monthly, quarterly and annual close activities which include analyzing accounts, journal entries (and/or amending them), performing account reconciliations, and preparing reports and financial documents
• GST-Filing: Collate all the necessary documentation and reports, ensure approval by Company Directors and submit to Head of Finance

Finance (40%):

• Organise the planning and forecasting process to build a complete picture of our P&L
• Develop dashboards and projectors using QuickBooks
• Provide support on costings for project proposals to clients
• Handle company payments as required, including creators involved in Crowdsourcing
• Invoice and accounts payable: Issue invoices to clients as per project schedule. Ensure on time payment from clients. Ensure payment on time to suppliers, as per our commitments and cash flow position
• Track time sheets of whole team to analyse/report profitability on a project by project basis

Overall Team Support (30%):

• Prepare Director’s claim on monthly basis
• Record and keep track of employees’ leave benefits
• Ensure time sheets are submitted on weekly basis
• Provide support with Expenses for the team
• Administrative support (travel, venues materials, external participants etc)
• Any other ad-hoc admin duties as required

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Demonstration of key finance competencies and qualifications, ideally with 2 or more years of experience
• Strong FP&A and controllership background
• As the Finance Spark, one needs to be a self-starter and proactive person
• Willing to learn quickly, not afraid to speak up (or have a POV), want to make a difference
• Ability and tact to work across very different cultures (form Europe to Asia)
• Articulate, with excellent command of English
• Familiar with Quickbooks, Xero and Microsoft Office suite (Excel in particular) and digitally savvy

Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Finance Manager to join our team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing financial operations, procurement activities, and ensuring compliance with statutory regulatory requirements and company policies/guidelines. Key Responsibilities

Financial Management:

• Responsible for consolidating financial statements from all subsidiaries to create a comprehensive financial report for the company.

Compliance:

Qualifications
