Job Responsibilities:

• Part of the Control and Corporate Functions business finance partnering team to support the corporate and support units to drive strategic business goals and achieve long-term financial performance
• Assist in month-end closing responsibilities, prepare monthly financial performance reports, perform variance analysis, monitor financials on forward looking basis, support forecasting and projections as well as manage annual budgeting and strategic planning processes and activities
• Enforce governance processes and controls
• Partake and support initiatives and projects
• Assist in ad-hoc requests and queries as required

Job Requirements

• Degree in Accounting / Finance/Business or its equivalent professional certificates
• At least 8 to 10 years demonstrated experience in banking industry and conversant with current accounting policies and banking regulations

• Assist the Director in overseeing finance, procurement, and administration.
• Implement and manage financial policies and procedures.
• Support budget management and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Coordinate procurement processes to achieve optimal value.
• Provide financial support to academic and athletic programs.
• Foster a collaborative working environment and build strong relationships with staff and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 8 or more years of combined experience in an MOE school, Private Education Institution, or within the Civil Service.
• A Degree in Accountancy, Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Chartered Accountant qualification is a plus.
• Experience in fast-paced environments with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and budgeting; experience with ERP systems is advantageous.
