• Works as Maconomy Project Controller and Maconomy Back Office to work with Project Manages (To set up, monitor, control and close the projects)
• Reviews signed contracts to liaise with local and international taxation
• Prepares project invoices, submits them to clients and follows up with clients
• Supports projects profit / loss taken at the month end closing
• Supports employees’ timesheet
• Handles monthly payroll process and related reports in compliance with Employment Act, CPF, PDPA and other Singapore regulations.
• Coordinates and liaisons with work permit agent on schedules and process for expat employees’ visa and work permit as well as manages relevant company data in Singpass system.
• Supports on other HR and administrative related works as assigned.
• Administrative duties related to the office and office facilities.

The Finance and Administrative Associate shall be supported and guided by the AFRY regional headquarters Finance, HR and admin team in Bangkok.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of working experience in related field.
• Good Finance and Accounts knowledge skills
• Knowledge of payroll principles, practices and regulations as well as taxation related regulations.
• Accountable for assigned tasks, timelines and deadlines, able to multi-task and work independently.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management

• Play a key role in formulating and implementing accounting policies and procedures in accordance with CAS (Charity Accounting Standards) and relevant statutory requirements.
• Examine and analyse accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
• Brief management on the monthly financial statements.
• Present the Quarterly Financial Statements and Annual Budget to the board.
• Check and review all payments.
• Review and Approve all journals.
• Involved in grants and other donation applications.
• Proficient in Goods & Services Tax Act.

Budgeting

• Prepare budgets and cash flow projections and analyse the variances.
• Budget for capital expenditure.

• Survey operations to ascertain accounting needs and to recommend, develop, and maintain solutions to business and financial problems.

Stakeholder Management

• Liaise with outsourced vendors to ensure timely and accurate financial records for Board presentations.

• Liaise with bankers.

You will play a crucial role in supporting the credit management function, including liaision with customers and internal staff. Duties:

• Responsible for credit control activities, which would include the following:
• Manage and maintain debtor's accounts to ensure the accounts are current.
• Monitor Accounts Receivables closely and ensure timely update of receipts from clients into accounting system.
• Close liaison with customers to ensure the timely collection of payment.
• Support any duties with our billing team to ensure in compliance to accounting standards, government regulations, internal policies and credit control policies.
• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned.
