Our client is a large oil & gas conglomerate looking for a claims specialist in their LPG shipping department in Singapore.

This is an exciting role for someone with prior claims/demurrage background and looking to grow into a commercial vessel operator or cargo operator in the future.

Main Responsibilities:

• Calculate and invoice demurrage and voyage-related claims incurred for each voyage, promptly with required documentation in accordance with the terms and conditions of the governing charter party

Job description

• Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day to day activities and decisions
• Implement collection strategies and key processes for the Collections Team
