Position Purpose:

Reporting to the Group Head of FP&A, the Senior Finance Analyst will partner with the Business Unit Managers and support groups to provide the necessary guidelines, strategies, plans, processes and controls in the region and divisional brand P&Ls.

Responsibilities:

A. Budgeting/Forecasting & Variance Analysis

• Analyze revenue, profitability by brand/customer/channel/market with quality commentary

B. Financial Reporting

Role Overview

A real-time analyst/editorial role reporting to the Head of Credit, Asia, producing insightful content to tight deadlines that showcases IGM’s new issue data. IGM’s credit market coverage focuses on the primary syndicated bond market, tracking new issues individually and in aggregate, while seeking to present value added intelligence which builds upon what is available via other channels. Market analysis of this level requires development and maintenance of a mutually beneficial contact base with industry practitioners at all levels.  The role also requires a deep understanding of financial markets with an emphasis on fixed income credit, and an appetite to seek ways to add colour and context for subscribers and data users alike.

• At least 3 years’ relevant experience preferably in a Finance Institution or Consultancy firms.

• Good understanding of Technology Finance.

• Above average excel skills (Advance formulas, pivot tables, building of reporting dashboard). Strong in data analysis using excel.

• Have working experience and advance understanding of SAP system (PEMS) would be a plus.

• Experienced in software and related maintenance contractual/commercial processing will be a plus.

· Good knowledge in Power Point and have prior experience in preparing PPT slides for reporting purpose. Knowledge in Power BI will be a plus.

Job Duties:

• 6 months maternity cover
• Develop and implement strategies to optimise liquidity and cash balances to meet payment requirements and maximise returns on surplus funds through investment.
• Recommend and implement investment strategies to maximize returns on surplus cash while ensuring compliance with investment policies and regulatory requirements.
• Prepares investment recommendations by researching and evaluating a list of bonds within the required limits of the investment policy to ensure that management has the correct information in making its decisions.
• Develop and execute a hedging strategy to manage the organization’s exchange rate risk.
• Ensure that all banking relationships operate efficiently, ensuring that transactions are recorded in an accurate and timely manner.
• Manage the relationship with banks and be responsible for meeting KYC requirements and ensuring that quality issues are addressed in relation to bank service fees.
• Maintain an effective system of policies and procedures that impose an appropriate level of control over treasury activities to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned
