RESPONSIBILITIES

• Part of the Global Transportation Finance team, based in Singapore, reporting directly to MD & Regional Head of Transportation, ASEAN and South East Asia.

• Lead through example and build the appropriate culture and values

• In addition, this role must work with Single Point of Contact (“SPOC”) coverage teams who face into the respective Business, Region, and Group Functions. This includes enabling the SPOC to provide effective risk oversight by providing:
• Advice in high risk and/or complex matters that require specialised knowledge. This includes providing expertise or deep technical knowledge to support decision making, including interpretation of relevant regulations, data and reports.
• Analysis of internal and external trends to identify and share early risk indicators with the SPOC teams.

Risk Management

• Ensure that all activities are in line with and support of the Operational, Technology & Cyber Risk Framework under the Group’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
• Review and assimilate the key principles of the Client Service Resilience Policy & Operational Resilience Standards including its key domains, controls and key roles and responsibilities.
• Ensure early identification and escalation of risks, issues, trends, and developments to line management and relevant stakeholders.

Governance

• Support the engagement with relevant Group Boards to demonstrate a robust strategic governance over resilience.
• Chief Product Owner for the resilience with risk and governance oversight ensuring appropriate prioritisation in delivering the strategic plan.

Regulatory & Business Conduct

• Displaying exemplary conduct and living by the Group's Values and Code of Conduct.
• Taking personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.

Our Ideal Candidate

• 7 plus years experience in risk management within the Banking industry.
• A rigorous and analytical approach to risk management
• Knowledge of the Business and its franchise and/or remit.
• Experience of business partnering, including the ability to synthesise and articulate complex and technical topics clearly to diverse audiences.
• Ability to manage a diverse and challenging stakeholder community / team.
• Proven experience with co-ordination of many dependencies in a complex, large-scale environment
• Specific strong competence in the use of Excel for analysis of complex data and PowerPoint for communication purposes
• Ideally the role holder will have specific experience of resilience risk management and OTCR frameworks and have an in-depth knowledge of some of the key organisational and operational challenges faced by a Second-Line Risk function. Experience of balancing cost targets with delivery need would also be beneficial.

Credit Controller Officer / Executive

Salary: $2800 to $3500 (Depends on Experience) + AWS + VB
Mon to Fri - 9am to 6pm

Responsibilities

• Assist in Debts Collection & follow up of overdue account
• Prepare regular & monthly credit related reports to Finance manager/ HOD
• Assist in monitoring monthly debts collection performance
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies relating to non-payment of invoices
• Conduct aged balance review with Finance manager/ HOD to follow up review action
• To adopt collection best practices and apply relevant collections strategies to enhance effectiveness
• Recommend improvements of credit risk measures, controls and processes
• Any other duties as assigned
• Evaluating new credit request and conducting client credit checks.
• Suggest and implement terms of credit for new clients
