Overall Purpose of the Role

The Asia credit business is growing its footprint and deploying capital in Asia – and specifically interested in China, particular China Outbound business and Southeast Asia. Relevant experience credit analysis work within the region would be added advantage. Responsibilities would include:

• Act as global account manager for Singapore based Commodities, Food & Agri sector clients and local/regional account manager for inbound clients

Profile of ideal candidate:

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
• 10-15 years of relevant working experience
• In depth knowledge of and experience in the commodity financing industry; prior experience of managing Singapore-based large commodity traders will be an advantage
• Ability to engage with clients at C-Suite level; and to manage multiple and senior internal stakeholders independently
• Sound understanding of banking products including Financial and Capital markets
• Sound judgement – ability to find the right balance with business and risks
• Self-motivated, entrepreneurial with a high degree of commercial drive and initiative to grow the business
• An effective team player with good interpersonal and communication skills; ability to coach junior team members
