Job Introduction
We are a local sizeable Financial Advisory firm licensed by MAS. We are looking
for an Assistant Finance Manager to join our team.

KEY ROLE(S), RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Manage the processing and payment of commissions to the firm's representatives
• Manage financial transactions, including reconciliations, cash management, and employee expenses
• Prepare and analyse financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
• Coordinate with external auditors to carry out financial audits and comply with regulatory requirements
• Ensure tax compliance and liaise with tax authorities
• Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets
• Provide financial advice and guidance to business leaders to support strategic planning and decision-making processes

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• At least 2.5 years of experience in finance and accounting roles
• Degree in finance or accounting
• Working knowledge of financial modelling, forecasting, and reporting
• Proficient in software such as MYOB, QuickBooks and Excel
• Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance-related guidelines.
• Report to CFO - Director

Location: Northeast (AMK/Serangoon)

Contract: 6 months

Responsibilities

• Review, verify, and process promotional claims submitted by partners, ensuring they meet the established terms, conditions, and timelines of promotional agreements.
• Ensure all required documentation (e.g., receipts, purchase invoices) is submitted and correct, flagging any inconsistencies or missing information.
• Act as the primary point of contact for partners, providing clear updates on claim status, resolving any issues, and educating partners on claim submission requirements.
• Work closely with finance, marketing, and sales departments to ensure promotions are executed as intended and that claim processing follows contractual terms.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies or disputes in partnership claims, escalating issues when necessary to the Claims and Promotions Manager.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of all partner claims, ensuring they are easily accessible for audits and reporting.

Requirements

• Diploma
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel – Pivot table, v-lookup, formulas
• Power BI and excel Macro skills will be strong plus
• Strong communication skills to liaise with different stakeholders
