Key responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Analysis and Reporting:

• Analyze and report monthly, quarterly, and annual financial performance (actual, forecast, budget) for institutions within the organization.
• Prepare consolidated financials for management and statutory reporting.
• Review accuracy of headcount and patient volumes in consolidated reports.
• Analyze institutions' financials and key ratios.

Budgeting and Projections:

• Assist in annual budget and projection cycles.
• Prepare projection/budget assumptions, templates, and board papers.
• Analyze and review cost recovery ratios.

Audit and Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with Financial Reporting Standards (FRS) and finance policies for new and developing accounting matters.
• Act as the main liaison with 1FSS, site finance, and auditors regarding key accounting and audit requirements.
• Prepare and coordinate the timeline for interim and year-end audits to ensure smooth completion.
• Consolidate Group and Company financial statements for statutory reporting.

Systems and Processes:

• Assist in matters related to BPC consolidation/budget system and Chart of Accounts (COA) mapping/harmonization.
• Work with MOHH, 1FSS, and other clusters to harmonize COA and ensure SAP and BPC mappings are aligned.
• Liaise with MOHH/Synapxe consultants for system setup changes and issue rectifications.
• Provide guidance to FSS-GL and institutions’ Finance on issues and submissions.

Policy Formulation:

• Formulate and update cluster finance policies to ensure they remain relevant and up-to-date.
• Provide active responses to finance policy queries raised by internal stakeholders.

Liaison and Coordination:

• Liaise with MOHH and MOH on reporting matters.
• Ensure smooth coordination and completion of the annual external audit cycle.

Support and Improvement:

• Collect and analyze data to support management’s decision-making, including tracking AR days, monitoring bad debts write-off, and productivity ratios.
• Identify and implement ways to improve productivity and cost management.

Other Duties:

• Undertake any other ad-hoc tasks as required.

Job Requirements:

Education/Training/Experience:

• A good and recognized degree in Accountancy.
• At least 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience.
• Prior experience in external audit and financial consolidation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; knowledge of SAP and BPC is an added advantage.

Job Scope

As a Software Engineer for Private Equity & Real Estate Technology, you will be part of a dynamic team of full-stack engineers in designing, building, deploying, testing, and supporting applications and related services hosted on AWS. Collaborating with business stakeholders, you will drive business value while ensuring the delivery of high-quality code. You’ll tackle a variety of problems from scaling out infrastructure to promoting business efficiency through automating business processes. Our internal applications leverage a highly scalable microservices architecture deployed on cloud-hosted containerized environment. What a Senior Financial Analyst does at Visa:

• Support the budgeting, forecasting and multi year planning process for the Business Function teams in AP. Provide guidance to Business Functions to achieve realistic and timely forecasts. Support the business and finance teams in the preparation of budget and forecast reports to support management review of financial outcomes
• Review forecast and budget submissions and perform an independent challenge to improve accuracy of forecasts. Analyze spending trends and recommend to Finance management a handicap to forecasts if required
• Provide advisory and consultative support to Business Function teams on finance related areas and bring financial discipline in investment decisions

Based in Singapore, the position entails developing, writing, and publishing timely market driven insight and strategies on global currency and rates markets incorporating an awareness of impactful factors and events in the adjacent rates, credit and fund flow markets.

Candidates must demonstrate their keen interest in and familiarity with the mechanics of currency and rate markets, alongside a strong grasp of relevant macro-economic drivers and a love of conveying their ideas and opinions via a mix of shorter “pulse” and longer “insight” stories.
