JPMorgan’s Markets Client & Sales Execution technology group supports core client, sales and research systems offering foundational capabilities that enhance the firm’s industry-leading global Markets franchise competitiveness.
The technology team is organized into product managers, agile development teams, business analysts, quality assurance, scrum masters and has contributors across Houston, New York, Bournemouth, London, Mumbai, Bangalore and Singapore.
This is a critical role where you will partner with core teams to lead time sensitive sales programmes effectively while managing both business and technology stakeholders to help capitalize on best in class deliveries to grow our APAC FX business and franchise.
The VP Markets Client & Sales Execution Product Manager will be responsible for:
• Working with internal stakeholders (product, operations, traders etc) to understand the value of changes, deepen industry and regional specialization and document key objectives
• Building a strong governance framework and chair regular prioritization and review meetings with business owners and technology partners across the region
• Assessing updates from central banks and other regional regulatory authorities and implementing new guidelines while respecting agreed deadlines and ensuring all system operations remain stable and efficient
• Clearly articulating local markets requirements and understanding cross-impact to existing workflows and processes across Markets Client & Sales Execution systems
• Engaging with core teams to line up the book of work, taking business priorities in consideration and driving timely deliveries across line of businesses
• Proactively identifying and removing obstacles to delivery to ensure changes happen in line with expectations when managing parallel production incidents and aggressive project commitments
The requirements for the role are:
• Master's degree in either Technology, Finance, Mathematics or equivalent field
• 10 years or more experience in Financial Services, preferably in a front office environment
• Solid background in FX trade workflows across businesses including retail, custody and private bank
• Coverage expertise in regional FX Markets – Australia, China, India, Japan, South Korea and SEA, with deep insights on India post trade actions, China SAFE process
• Prior exposure and/or system knowledge of FXConnect or eXecute preferred
• Excellent organizational skills, communication, documentation and presentation skills
• Experience in high pressure, time critical environments
• Knowledge of agile software development framework preferred
