Job Description – Chef de Partie

• Create a warm, welcoming, and positive environment for team members & guests.
• Delivering the highest quality of food and service by maintaining consistency, and accurately following recipes, SOPs, and rules & regulations set by the company.
• Receiving deliveries and verifying that all ordered items have been delivered and are of good quality.
• Taking inventory of restaurant supplies and notifying the supervisor of low or depleted supplies.
• Recording and discarding all expired and spoiled food items stored in the stock rooms, refrigerators, and freezers
• Performing basic cleaning duties and ensuring that workstations are properly sanitized.
• Communicate with the culinary supervisor and manager to ensure required prep work is completed and if assistance is required.
• Is responsible for culinary food inventory, ensuring proper rotation, labeling of Ingredients, and practices FEFO (First Expiry, First Out) to reduce product waste.
• Adheres to the highest level of food safety & hygiene standards and ensures the cleanliness of chillers, freezers, and kitchen.
• Ensures all equipment is in good and safe working condition and alerts your supervisor or manager when items need repair or replacement.
• Protects the integrity of all recipes and procedures.
• Follow safety procedures and policies to ensure a safe environment.
• Overall team player and ability to work diligently to achieve outstanding service quality.
• Nurtures culinary skills, and trains and supervises junior team members on all recipes.
• Ensures proper food safety and hygiene standards are upheld by team members at all times.

Job Requirements:

• 3 to 5 years of kitchen experience in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Possess good leadership and management skills.

Hotel Front Desk

• Location: Orchard
• Salary: S$1,800 – S$2,000 (Depend on Experience)
• Working days: 6 days
• Working hours: 3 rotating shifts – 7am to 3pm, 3pm to 11pm & 11pm to 7am
• (Midnight shift twice a month)

Responsibility

• Booking reservations for guests, including room rates, room availability, and special requests
• Perform registration duties for all hotel guests.
• Reviewing guest check-in information, such as name, address, credit card number, and phone number
• Assigns appropriate guests rooms based on their preferences.
• Handles guests requests through incoming calls and performs follows up on guests’ requests.
• Completing administrative tasks such as filing and photocopying

Job Descriptions

• Create and maintain restaurant’s menu and identity.
• Well knowledgeable about sushi preparation techniques-e.g maki,nigir,and sashimi
• Know different Japanese cooking style of food
• Create a menu exhibiting authentic taste of Japanese cuisine
• In charge of recipe development to execution
• Ensure food is prepared properly-quality, presentation
• Train new kitchen staff
• Responsible for planning and directing food preparation in the outlet

Job Requirements

• 1 year of sushi / sashimi experience
• Can read and speak English. Other language is a plus
• Good interpersonal and communications skills
• Able to working on rotating, split shift, weekends & public holidays.
• Able to stand for long periods of time during operation hours

• 10:30am to 10:30pm
• Split shift: 2:30pm to 5pm Rest hours
