Our client is a F&B Manufacturing MNC. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for an Assistant Engineering Manager to join their team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the West.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of engineers and technicians in various projects and improvements.
• Manage to oversee the overall production process and quality control.
• Manage production, quality, and maintenance in industrial plants.
• Provide training and mentorship to other related supporting staffs/engineers on electronical and mechanical related troubleshooting skills/knowledge.
• Conduct performance evaluations and resolve internal issues.
• Collaborate on project plans and specifications.
• Ensure technical accuracy and compliance of work.
• Establish and enforce policies and procedures.
• Coordinate departmental activities.
• Provide support for downtime and standby duties.
• Any other duties as assigned.

Requirement:

• Diploma in any discipline
• At least 5 years relevant working experience in similar industry

Responsibilities

• Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
• Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.)
• Cook food in various utensils or grillers
• Check food while cooking to stir or turn
• Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served
• Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
• Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
• Check quality of ingredients
• Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages

Requirements and skills

• Proven experience as chef
• Experience in using cutting tools, cookware and bakeware
• Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling etc.)
• Ability to follow all sanitation procedures
• Ability to work in a team
• Very good communication skills
• Excellent physical condition and stamina
• Able to work on weekend and public holiday
