Job Description
The candidate would be responsible for driving HSE practices - office safety and driver safety in the office along with building this culture within different teams as well as handling facilities management duties. WSH Certification is not required.
Facilities Management:
* Conducts monitoring, maintenance, safety, and management duties to foster a clean and secure working environment for office employees.
* Manages service providers in facilities management for cleaning, maintenance, and related tasks within their designated scope.
* Oversees the safety and cleanliness of office spaces, conducting routine maintenance and necessary repairs.
* Schedules regular inspections and arranges emergency repairs with external vendors.
* Ensures proper security measures for the workplace, collaborating with building management or a team of security professionals when required.
* Handles day-to-day facility operations, including delegating or personally addressing maintenance orders.
* Collaborates with building management to address any other office facility matters.
Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE):
* Supports continuous compliance with the Global SHE Framework, encompassing standards, procedures, and guidelines, along with adherence to national safety, health, and environmental legislation in the Marketing Company.
* Leads SHE activities based on the Marketing Company SHE Risk Register, SHE performance, and prioritized SHE initiatives.
* Develops the annual SHE Improvement Plan, encompassing activities related to Driving, Safety, Environment, and Health & Wellbeing.
* Ensures implementation, monitoring, and annual review of DriveSuccess requirements.
* Conducts communication campaigns and training initiatives to bolster SHE awareness.
* Establishes, implements, and annually reviews documented SHE Management System (SHE Made Simple) requirements.
* Ensures emergency response plans are established, implemented, maintained, and practiced.
* Produces and submits quarterly reports on the Marketing Company's driver safety and SHE performance to the client's Global SHE reporting system and the Marketing Company Leadership Team.
* Promptly responds to reports of serious and fatal accidents, notifying the Country President and Marketing Company Leadership Team and reporting events to the Global SHE Duty Manager within 24 hours.
* Assists line managers in investigating accidents and other SHE events, ensuring reports are submitted and actions are completed.
* Leads the arrangement of driver safety and SHE training and promotes SHE awareness among Marketing Company employees, contractors, and visitors.
* Takes charge of periodically reviewing hazards through the risk assessment process and monitors associated control systems and measures, coordinating activities of the Marketing Company SHE Committee.
The Successful Applicant
- At least 5 years of facilities management and office management required.
- Interest to pick up and drive HSE practices in the office.
- In-depth knowledge of the Facilities Management function and its correlation with the assets and services under its purview.
- SAP knowledge is a plus.
- Demonstrated self-initiative, responsibility, and resilience in providing solutions to stakeholders in a multinational environment.
