We are looking for an experienced HR & Office Manager. In this role you will focus on our most important asset, our people. This role is responsible for finding, engaging, training and developing our people, & making sure the office runs smoothly to make Chab an amazing place to work.
HR Operations Responsibilities:
- Handle HR administration functions
- Assist the Finance department with monthly Payroll
- Benefit & Welfare Administration
- Onboarding & offboarding
- Recruitment - advertising and conducting round 1 interviews
- Handling queries relating to HR matters
- Handle contracts, promotion and salary related queries & strategies
- Manage HRIS System (leave allowances, engagement activities, compliance etc)
- Prepare weekly reports for senior management on key HR Analytics
- Manage work pass application & renewal process
- Liaise with MOM & other government entities relating to labour law, surveys, grants etc
- Adhering to employment laws and ensure compliance with employment legislation
Engagement Responsibilities:
- Measure Employee Engagement across the organisation, and design creative initiatives to increase engagement.
- Work with the Hiring Managers to manage the onboarding process to ensure new joiners are onboarded quickly & smoothly
- Craft various initiatives and events that encourage a fun and positive work environment, where employees feel valued and appreciated
- Manage team bonding activities & schedule, delivering engaging and creative experiences.
Office Management Responsibilities:
- Manage, Organise and improve the office environment
- Source & manage external vendors and suppliers (maintenance, Air con, Pantry supplier etc) to reduce cost & improve efficiency
- Manage onsite office stock & storage
- Conceptulise and implement ideas to utilise the space better (i.e area for people to each lunch / take breaks) and process to ensure items are secure and access is allowed for Chab staff only
- Liaise with IT service provider for IT related set up & any issues
What you’ll need to be successful:
- More than 5 years of Generalist HR experience, with a minimum 2 years of office management experience
- A positive, proactive can do attitude, with a solution oriented approach
- Expert communicator, fluency in English essential
- The ability to motivate and inspire others
- The willingness to work in a fast paced environment, with high levels of ambiguity
- A creative problem solver mentality with the ability to find creative solutions to everyday challenges under pressure
- High level of attention to detail and organizational skills
