Purpose of Job:
Responsible for Sales of GSI division for the Sales market to achieve target objectives, including revenue and gross margin. Quota carrying sales professional in a hunter role with existing customer & vendor relations in local Singapore market with proven track record of selling full stack IT Infra solutions by acquiring new logos and achieving targets on a year-on-year basis.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Build sales strategy, identify new opportunities and drive business across Singapore and nearby markets
• Identify & establish relationships with new customers and leverage existing relationships in the Singapore market;
• Connect client’s business objectives with SI offerings and solutions to effectively sell a broad portfolio of IT products and services
• Develop strategic pursuit plans, engaging internal stakeholders, to participate in a variety of client-facing activities; driving the entire 360 sales cycle from prospecting to closing sales, with the goal of achieving/exceeding the assigned quota, measured on a quarterly and annual basis.
• Establish both short-term and long-term sales goals and monitor achievements, taking necessary action as needed to ensure sales targets are achieved
• Passionate and enthusiastic involvement in all aspects of team management as well as direct interaction during the sales process with prospects, customers and partners; foster teamwork and create a positive work environment for a geographically distributed sales force
• Identify and forecast potential sales opportunities for company supported products and services for the aggregate team.
• Attend Tradeshow/Seminar etc and support marketing events
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
• Proven history of success driving sales and business growth within a turnaround environment.
• Strong presentation and negotiation skills; demonstrate creative approach to both “hunting and farming.”
• Strong working knowledge of current and changing company products and service offerings; ability to maintain industry/competitor knowledge
• Strong organizational skills to multi-task demanding priorities; effective use of resources to deliver customer results
• Ability to establish and maintain CXO level relationships with customers in key markets
• Strong business acumen and operating experience, particularly in the areas of sales forecasting and the identification and implementation of sales programs and solutions designed to address customer needs
• Self-starter, entrepreneurial, resourcefulness, flexible with business acumen.
• Excellent communication & time management skills
Education / Experience Requirements:
• 10+ years of technology sales experience developing new accounts; carrying & achieving an individual quota in excess of 3M USD annually
• Extensive, existing and relevant network of customers & OEMs relationships in Singapore with a track record of selling end-to-end IT Solutions (Network, DC, Communications, Security, Professional & Managed Services)
• Orchestrate complex solutions for the customer using strong collaboration skills both internal & external across geographies and time zones
• Good understanding of buying process & cycles (Tech, Fin, Ops) of local customers
• Proven success driving consistent revenue growth year-over-year
• Related experience in Singapore markets required
