As a Lead Technical Program Manager in Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) Technology, Payments team, you will drive the successful delivery of complex technology projects and programs that will help reaching business goals across the firm. Job Responsibilities
• Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, incorporating technical requirements, resource allocation, and timelines to ensure on-time delivery of technology solutions
• Identify and mitigate risks, proactively addressing potential roadblocks and implementing contingency plans to maintain project and program momentum
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and business stakeholders, to define program scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with overall business goals
• Utilize advanced analytical reasoning to assess program performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement data-driven optimizations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
• Champion the adoption of agile methodologies and technical solutions, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the team
• Align effectively with the business's objectives and delivery by building strong relationships with key Digital and Business strategy leads to drive against TII test strategy by liaising with APAC business, and client facing teams , Improve resolution of Real Time Payments (RTP) program related challenges & foster new opportunities
• Engaging co-location with regional Product, Technology, Operations, & Project teams in order to improve resolution of Real Time Payments (RTP) testing program related challenges & foster new opportunities to strategically work towards optimization of various process flows across testing life cycle
• Partner closely with Operations, Product and Technology groups and ensure that UAT team priorities and needs are communicated effectively especially relating to Code Releases and Test environments
• Provide day-to-day responsibility of leading multiple test teams involving daily supervision, allocation of duties, timely resolution of testing issues and regular communication with reporting managers
• Participate effectively in fortnightly Delivery Working Group meetings with senior stakeholders to ensure a consistent collaborative approach
• Identifying testing automation opportunities and test synergies, completing a knowledge audit / matrix on each team member, documenting any gaps, taking steps to fill those gaps, and ultimately ensuring that all UAT skills are transferable across the team
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
• 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in technical program management, leading complex technology projects and programs in a large organization
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Advanced expertise in stakeholder management, with the ability to establish productive working relationships and influence decision-making across cross-functional teams and clients
• Advanced experience in utilizing technical fluency, including knowledge of vendor products and managing vendor relations, to enable on-demand access to shared pools of applications and services
• Proven track record of effectively managing resources, budgets, and high-performing teams in a fast-paced, agile environment
• Demonstrated proficiency in applying analytical reasoning and problem-solving techniques to break down business, technical, or operational objectives into manageable tasks and activities
• Proven track record of delivery excellence, strategic thinking, thought leadership, exceptional communication, ability to influence and bringing objective outcomes as per the organizational strategic goals
• Highly skilled at problem solving, ability to scope and provide structure to complex issues, rapidly learn unfamiliar processes and provide insightful and timely remediation with extensive experience in working closely with steerco level stakeholders
• Extensive Testing experience & SME expertise in Payments domain across complex frameworks including test automation experience, familiarity with TDD/BDD methodology
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide succinct verbal updates to steerco, MBRs and other senior management meetings while managing stakeholder expectations & escalations on daily issues with the Programme
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
• Relevant Test management experience within the Financial Services industry supporting multiple LOB’s delivering in a highly complex, pressurized and high volume environment
• Functional knowledge of Payments utilizing Testing and Automation knowledge, Real Time payments knowledge in APAC markets
• Working knowledge of direct testing with Clearing Houses and Central Banks would be an advantage
• Experienced in using of Python / Cucumber / Gherkin / Team City or similar tool
• Ability to use effective systemic data driven reporting to support program reporting using Tableau, Alteryx and possess advanced skills in PowerPoint / Pitch Pro skills - to create professional slides and structure presentations with minimal input and need for secondary review
• Actively contributes to program updates, steerco, MBRs and other senior management meetings and the ability to handle multiple projects, manage personnel & team management in order to meet APAC stakeholder expectations
• Ability to build and nurture effective and lasting relationships with colleagues, team members and stakeholders across multiple business lines and global locations
