About CFA Society Singapore
We are the premier Singapore-based member society for over four thousand financial and investment professionals and part of a global network of societies with representation in over 160 markets. Our members include young enterprising financials specialists to C-suite level professionals in many leading financial and investment firms in Singapore.
We connect and regularly engage with not only our members but also with university students, employers, faculty members, regulators, the media, and 22 other CFA societies in the region. The society also runs short executive programmes for members as well as preparatory programmes for candidates to take the CFA Exams.
Job Description
i. Ensure a smooth delivery of the Academy’s preparatory programmes and courses/workshops.
ii. To handle pre-admission enquiries of the preparatory programmes and courses/workshops, and to process student applications, registrations and enrolment.
iii. To assist in preparing marketing collateral for upcoming courses and expanding our network of candidates.
iv. To assist in:
a. attending to and following up on queries;
b. liaising with lecturers;
c. scheduling of classes;
d. scheduling of information sessions;
e. closing of sales and enrolment process;
f. ensuring prompt payment of lecturers’ fees;
g. arranging for availability and setup of audio-visual and IT equipment;
h. sourcing of venues;
i. tracking of attendance;
j. preparing exams logistics and
k. processing of exams results.
v. To conduct trainer surveys and collate the results in order to evaluated, review, and seek to continuously improve the experience for students and lecturers.
vi. To administer, process and submit reimbursement claims of course fee from government agencies such as SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) and The Institute of Banking and Finance Singapore (IBF).
vii. To issue certificates of completion to candidates and participants ensure that they are in compliance with the requirements of the funding agencies.
viii. To assist with the development of new programmes.
ix. To handle candidate and trainer feedback and/or complaints with tact and discretion.
x. To be present at the training site when needed, which entails working on some weekday evenings and Saturday mornings (with time off to be documented).
xi. To undertake other administrative duties related to the programmes being offered.
xii. To undertake other duties related to other events the society organises.
Requirements
- Knowledge - Regulatory knowledge, IBF filing requirements and deadlines, IBF funding requirements
- Skills - Project management & scheduling skills, Candidate mgmt. skills, Programme management, MS 365 skills, LMS knowledge
- Values - Team player, Eye for detail & deadlines, Operations oriented
- A degree holder will be preferable but strong diploma candidates with a diploma will be considered
