Identifying and resolving technical issues; support day to day operations

• Provide operational end-user support like shakedown, monitoring the availability of the applications, deployment, system health check, etc

• Attend to incidents and problem resolution within stipulated SLA

• Maintaining and updating technical documents and procedures

• Work with the vendor like Microsoft, IBM for upgrades/issues/analysis

• Interface with different stakeholders in the project (security team, customers, infra and application teams)

What we expect:

• Oversee the IT infrastructure and administration of the server, network, and relevant devices.

Ø Administration, Configuration & Maintenance of Network Infrastructure ( Firewall like Fortinet, Load Balancer like Peplink/F5 )

Ø Responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining VM environment (VMWare, Hyper-V)

Ø Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Anti-virus server

• Maintain servers and network file back-up/restore procedures (Internal & Cloud environment)
• Provide Local & Wide Area Network, Router, Internet, and system support/troubleshooting at all levels.

What we are looking for:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently, managing timelines and expectations.
• Good team player with strong analytical, communication, and troubleshooting skills.
• CCNA/CCNP certification is an advantage
• Knowledge in the cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Ali-cloud) will be an advantage

• Establish and enforce policies for technology use promoting responsible decision-making.
• Contribute to innovative learning space development during campus upgrades.
• Lead IT team in implementing and supporting digital strategy initiatives.
• Drive research and development of new digital platforms and systems.
• Promote technology's educational role through community engagement.
• Ensure compliance with data protection policies and provide staff training, while managing and implementing change management processes.
• User Policies: Establish and enforce user policies for technology use promoting responsible decision-making, ensuring adherence to data protection and security protocols.
• Network and Systems Infrastructure: Ensure that network and systems infrastructure aligns with established policies and supports educational objectives, optimizing performance and security.
• IT Purchasing and Vendor Relations: Engage with vendors to procure technology solutions that comply with policies, support digital strategy initiatives, and contribute to educational innovation.
• IT Support and Asset Management: Implement support and asset management processes that align with policies, ensuring efficient resolution of technical issues and optimal utilization of resources.
• Managing Technology and Support Resources: Allocate technology resources effectively to support digital strategy initiatives, promoting innovation while adhering to policies and compliance requirements.
• Change Management: Implement change management processes to ensure smooth transitions in technology usage, while providing staff training and ensuring compliance with policies, especially regarding data protection.

The Successful Applicant

1. Leadership and Technical Experience: At least 5 years of experience in managing international school IT operations.
2. Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of current IT technologies, including databases, networking, and project management skills, with a focus on Apple environments such as MacOS and iPad deployment in a 1:1 environment.
3. Team Management: Ability to build, mentor, and provide direction to IT teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
4. Resourcefulness and Relationship Building: Resourceful individual with a quick learning ability to adapt to diverse IT environments and build effective relationships across organizations.
5. Preferred Qualifications: High energy and excellent customer service skills, coupled with deep expertise in educational technology and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a high-pressure environment.
6. Additional Skills: Proficiency in Project Management, ITIL aligned frameworks/processes, negotiation skills, integrity, professionalism, lateral thinking, problem-solving abilities, and proactive initiative-taking.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and screenings on child’s development, maternal and family well-being.
• Develop and deliver child development targeted interventions through engagements with parents/caregivers in the home settings.
• Engage, build and maintain positive relationships with parents/caregivers to support them in knowledge and skills on meeting child's development needs.
• Engage and work collaboratively with key community and social agencies (FSCs, SSOs, Commlink) in the family's landscape of support.
• Commit to ensuring administrative work (E.g. case plans, case notes, data management) are up-to-date with timeliness.

Requirements:

• MUST possess minimum Degree in Early Childhood or Psychology.
• At least 3 years’ experience in social service, working with families.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Organised in administrative work and takes.
• Adaptable to changes.
• Passionate about working with children and families with an interest in early childhood development

Work Location: Choa Chu Kang

(Work Hours/Timing: 9am-6pm, Mon-Fri with occasional week nights and weekends).
