What's the role?

The Company Financials Markets team is looking for a Senior Data Management Professional who can combine deep subject matter expertise and advanced technical skills to own and develop data-driven strategies and workflows around exchanges and 3rd party data providers. • Experience implementing high volume, low-latency ETL pipelines and proven track record of managing data lifecycle

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Data Analyst to join our Greater China Reseller Operations Team, to provide actionable insights derived from sophisticated datasets. The ideal candidate will excel in redefining data into actionable insights, utilizing an integrated approach of analytics, has an eye for continuous improvement (dashboard building, automation and scripting), and machine learning methodologies. In this role, you will work closely with GC Leadership team to identify opportunities to tackle complex problems, drive data-driven decision-making, and contribute to the strategic direction of our business analytics initiatives.

Key Qualifications

• 5+ years of practical experience in a data science role, preferably in a business analytics setting.
• Skilled in the use of statistical tools and programming (including Python, SQL).
• Proven experience with machine learning libraries and frameworks.
• Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms, as well as database management systems.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and experience in hypothesis-driven statistical testing.
• Proven track record in operationalizing models and integration into business processes
• Experience with Operations Research and optimisation techniques is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain processes including demand planning, inventory management, and logistics preferred
• Demonstrated skill in data visualisation and communication tools (e.g., Tableau).
• Ability to translate complex data insights into actionable business strategies.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with a track record of successful cross-functional collaboration.

Description

Your role includes detailed analysis of sophisticated datasets to discover trends and forecast outcomes, which will craft strategic initiatives. A crucial part of your job will be to not only articulate these predictive insights to senior leadership with transparency but also to operationalize these models, ensuring they are integrated optimally into business processes for real-world applications. The PAC RO team is the key operations liaison with Apple’s Reseller Partners and works with our partners to ensure that the supply chain run as efficiently as possible, in order to improve sell through across the fastest growing region globally. Education

Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
