Job Responsibilities

· To carry out the supervision and inspection of building works as stipulated in the Building Control Act

· To carry out supervision and inspection of the works including any off-site manufacturing and/or pre-fabrication, and ensure that works are constructed to required quality and accuracy, both onsite and at any temporary offsite locations

· Conduct functional tests and commissioning.

· Carry out defects checking and locking-up of units (for handover)

· Assist in feedback related to progress and non-compliance.

The main duties of the RTO (during the defects liability period) shall include but not be limited to the following:

Job Requirements

· The Resident Technical Officer shall be qualified and competent and possess the relevant skills, knowledge, and ability to coordinate and supervise the diversion works.

Job Description

• Carry out full time supervision for construction of structural works in accordance to BCA approved structural drawings in compliance to Building and Control Act and regulations
• Check that requirements of specifications in regards to materials and workmanship are complied with the project specifications by the Builders. • Verify all Maintenance History File (MHF) worksheets & release certificates from vendors is complete & with accurate information of work performed.
