Your key responsibilities
As the Software Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in providing strategic and technical guidance to our clients in the banking industry. You will work closely with stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, and external vendors, to design and implement efficient and scalable core banking solutions. This is an exceptional opportunity to leverage your expertise and contribute to the success of our clients' core banking transformation initiatives. Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Lead Cross-functional Teams: Manage and mentor software development teams, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and project requirements.
· Agile Methodologies: Drive agile frameworks across teams to deliver scalable, high-quality software solutions. Facilitate sprint planning, user story creation, and iterative project delivery.
· Solution Architecture: Oversee solution design, ensuring systems are scalable, maintainable, and meet business needs. Experience with event-driven architectures and microservices is required.
· Digital Transformation: Spearhead digital transformation initiatives by developing information architecture and data strategies for global clients, leveraging technologies like cloud platforms (Google Cloud), APIs, and microservices.
· Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with business leaders to gather and translate business requirements into technical specifications. Communicate progress, risks, and opportunities to key stakeholders.
· End-to-End Project Management: Lead full software development life cycle (SDLC) projects, including architecture, design, development, testing, and deployment.
· Regulatory & Compliance Solutions: Manage regulatory reporting solutions, particularly for financial institutions, leveraging platforms such as SAP’s Financial Services Data Platform (FSDP).
· Data Strategy & Information Flow: Lead information architecture and API-based solutions for large-scale digital transformation projects, ensuring data integrity and seamless integration across systems.
· Cloud and API Solutions: Experience in developing cloud-native applications using platforms such as Google Cloud, PostgreSQL, and Oracle CDC solutions.
· Mentoring & Leadership: Provide technical guidance and career development opportunities for team members while fostering an innovative and collaborative culture.

To qualify for the role you must have
· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree will be a plus.
· Extensive experience (10+ years) within Technology Consulting domain or in a similar role within the financial services industry.
· In-depth knowledge of core banking systems, architectural principles, and industry best practices.
· Proven experience in managing teams across agile development environments.
· Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
· Strong understanding of APIs, data strategy, and digital transformation initiatives.
· Experience with tools like PowerBI, Oracle Data Integrator, Google Cloud Platform, PostgreSQL, and Attunity Replicate.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Strong organizational and project management abilities.
· Expertise in agile software development methodologies.
