Pre-requisite for SAP Consultant (Functional)

Education Qualification

Job Description:

1. Safely and efficiently operate mobile cranes to lift, move, and position heavy objects, equipment, and materials according to project requirements.
2. Perform pre-operational inspections and maintenance checks on the crane, ensuring it is in optimal working condition before operation.
3. Set up the crane at job sites, ensuring stability and safety measures are inplace, such as outriggers, cribbing, and proper rigging techniques.
4. Interpret and follow lifting plans and signals from signalpersons or riggers to ensure accurate and safe crane movements.
5. Assess load weights and determine load capacities to ensure safe lifting operations, making necessary adjustments as required.
6. Communicate effectively with team members, including signalpersons, riggers, and supervisors, to ensure coordinated and safe lifting operations.
7. Adhere to all relevant safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies, maintaining a strong focus on safety at all times.
8. Monitor and maintain the proper function of crane controls, ensuring they are responsive and functioning correctly during operations.
9. Keep accurate records of crane usage, maintenance, and inspections, reporting any issues or concerns to supervisors.
10. Continuously update knowledge of industry best practices, new equipment, and safety protocols to improve job performance.

Requirement:

1. Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent education level.
2. Minimum of [5] years of experience as a mobile crane operator, preferably in a construction or industrial setting.
3. Valid crane operator certification from a recognized training organization.
4. Valid driver's license (Min Class 5) with a clean driving record.
5. Additional certifications such as rigging or signalling may be preferred, but not always required.
6. Ability to interpret and follow technical drawings, lifting plans, and signal communication to execute precise lifting operations.
7. Good communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively communicate with team members and follow instructions.
