Job Description: Teacher Aide cum Admin Support

Position Overview:Shuqun Primary School is seeking two dedicated and competent Teacher Aides cum Admin Support personnel to enhance the logistics and administrative functions of the school. The selected individuals will provide essential support to teachers, staff, and students in various academic and administrative capacities.

Duration of Service:

• Contract Period: From 1 May 2024 to 30 April 2025.

Working Hours:

• Mondays to Thursdays: 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.* (inclusive of 1/2h lunch break)
• Fridays: 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., inclusive of 1/2h lunch break
• Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays, and gazetted public holidays *Reporting hours may change to fit the school’s needs.
• Total Hours: 42 Hours per week

Responsibilities:

Classroom/Academic Studies-Related Duties:

1. Attend to School General Office Counter duties, catering to the needs of staff and students entering the office, and handling phone calls.
2. Assist in typing/printing test/examination papers, work sheets, notes, etc.
3. Support teachers in preparing teaching materials.
4. Assist HOD Science in preparing equipment and resources for Science programs.
5. Aid SH Partnership in the distribution of goodie bags and other related tasks.
6. Assist teachers in the collection of forms and monitor attendance for programs.
7. Support in examination activities, tours, and excursions.
8. Assist in in-house oral examinations as a time-keeper and coordinating the flow of class movement to examination areas.

Other Duties:

1. Assist in keying/updating data, including pupils’ particulars, marks/grades, Physical Fitness Test Results, School-based surveys, etc.
2. Collaborate with Teachers and the Office to call students or parents to follow up on issues.
3. Conduct stock-inventory for various items.
4. Support in canteen/recess/bus bay duties, including supervising pupils for safety, providing basic first-aid, and contacting parents of unwell pupils during recesses.
5. Assist in the decoration of school premises for festivities, celebrations, and special functions.
6. Collaborate with teachers in maintaining/updating school bulletin/notice boards.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

• At least 5 GCE 'N' Level Passes, including English Language and Mathematics, or 3 GCE 'O' Level Passes or equivalent.
• Good communication, interpersonal skills, and patience with young children.
• Preferably have administration experience, especially in a school setting.

• Provide presales support by solving technical business solutions for the client.
• Responsible for product demonstration, proposal writing, creating compliance table, training and product enablement.
• Develop working proficiency and obtain certifications on assigned products and technologies.
• Conduct hands-on POC independently and present vendor’s solution to partners and end-users.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Computer Studies or equivalent
• At least 2 years of presales experience in IT network and Cybersecurity domain.
• Good knowledge of security and networking infrastructure environment.

As a Technical Services Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of technical professionals, ensuring the successful delivery of technical services, and actively participating in hands-on technical tasks. You will play a key role in managing projects, coordinating team activities, and providing technical expertise to solve complex challenges and form teams with other BU’s and peer groups.

Responsibilities

· Align organizational IT strategy with customer experience strategy while continually helping improve operation policies, standards, and procedures.

· Responsible for application design and development from inception through production

of client ‘portfolio of products both hands-on and as an SME.

Actively engage in hands-on technical tasks, leveraging your expertise to contribute to project success.

· Lead and manage geographically distributed teams of technical professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support. Constantly look for ways to improve technical skills within the team. Engage and/or facilitate periodic training for the technical team.

· Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and security.

Candidate Requirements:

· Previous experience in leading a technical team. Demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate a team toward achieving common goals.

· Financial Services experience is a must, preferably in the Financial Crime and Compliance domain.

· Strong experience in designing and delivering Enterprise solutions to Tier 1 organizations with end-to-end experience and expertise.

· Experience in client-facing roles, with the ability to understand client needs, build strong relationships, and address concerns effectively in a Consulting or Professional Services capacity.

· Demonstrated ability to adapt to evolving technologies and industry trends, ensuring that the team stays current and leverages the latest advancements.

· Customer facing experience, preferably in

- At least 3 years of experience with SQL statements.

- Proficient in one of the programming languages such as Python, Java or C++.

- Good communication skills, including the ability to identify and communicate data driven insights.

- Ability to manage and communicate data warehouse plans with internal clients.
