• Handle feedback / complains from the public and stakeholders and resolve issue amicably
• Attend dialogue sessions with the Resident Committees if require
• Close liaison with project manager on project schedules and updates
• Provide administrative support to the project team as assigned
• Working closely with all contractors and take proactive measures in mitigating all complaints arising from the construction activities
• To prepare and compile weekly report on all the complaints and requests received form the public
• Assist Project Manager on daily administration work
• Sort and deliver incoming and outgoing mails, documents reports and drawings
• Ensure maintain of proper record and filing system
• Other ad hoc administrative support

Requirements

• Diploma / “A” levels
• Relevant working experience, preferably in Construction industry
• Able to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
• Good written and effectively bilingual
• Possess good communication and interpersonal skills

POSITION SUMMARY

The Public Works (PW) Director shall be responsible for the full scope of Contractor's responsibility regarding engineering, maintenance, operations, and quality management programs supporting the Government and the Singapore Base Operating Services Contract (SBOSC).

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Sole administrator of the Contractor's Public Works Program, having full authority and responsibility for assuring performance objectives and standards are met.

· Ensure both prime and subcontractors abide by program, contractual and industrial standards/best practices

· Oversee, provide, and manage facilities services to include preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, and new construction

· Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICTIONS

· Must obtain a US Secret Clearance

· Must be a registered Professional Engineer, licensed by Singapore or the United States for Civil or Structural Engineering

· Five years of experience as a manager in a multi-discipline environment comparable to that offered under the contract

· Must have knowledge in working with DOD Contracts, preferably with US Navy

· Must have the ability to actively engage with Public Works Officer and Contracting Officer

· Must have a valid Driver's License (US or International)

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

· Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment

WORKING CONDITIONS

The regular working hours are from 0730-1730, five days per week, Monday through Friday, except observed Federal and local holidays. The work shall be performed at various locations within the Republic of Singapore, including PSA Sembawang, Changi Naval Base (CNB), and Paya Lebar Air Base (PLAB) or other locations in or around Singapore.

• Liaise with various Statutory Boards, Government Departments, and sub-contractors to ensure smooth execution of works
