We're currently seeking a Business Analyst/Project Manager with experience in Trade Banking Channels to join and enhance the project and application support for global releases in trade finance.
Responsibilties:
You will collaborate closely with the EU Business Analyst team, coordinating efforts on requirements gathering, impact analysis, and the development of functional specifications for enhancements and production issues. Additionally, the Business Analyst will play a key role in defining the testing scope for SIT, UAT, and NRT, and validating test outcomes with users and testers.
- Define operational objectives for new business requirements through systematic business analysis
- Validate business requirements to ensure alignment with business/operations needs, IT architecture, and security standards
- Design functional solutions, user workflows, and document Functional Specifications
- Walkthrough requirements and proposed solutions with stakeholders for review and signoff
- Develop SIT/UAT/NRT scope and approach, guide testing team in writing and rationalizing test scenarios/cases
- Validate SIT test results and assist users in UAT planning/execution and defect analysis
- Document/review user manuals and release notes as required
- Provide tactical/strategic solutions for new client requirements
- Assist in conversion/migration exercises as necessary
For production defects, perform functional analysis and propose solutions.
Ensure Bank compliance policies and APAC standards/practices are strictly followed.
- Represent Operations & IT in the preparation for approval committees for exceptional transaction or new activities committees.
- To manage Objectives towards Outsourcing activities.
- Liaise with Onshore teams and review the IT architecture and data flows
- Coordinate with PMOs and Outsourcing teams on preparing the requisite documentation in accordance to company standards
- Liaise with all stakeholders for requisite approvals
Act as a Subject Matter Expert on end to end processes: - Bring expertise on the end to end process with a strong focus on improving the efficiency of the Operating Model - Develop a clear vision of the target processes including innovation / digital.
- Regularly communicate project status to stakeholders, address roadblocks to ensure timely production go-live. Facilitate steering committees for project delivery updates, risk management, decision recording, and implementation validation.
- Participate in functional design reviews and contribute to improve overall solution offered.
- Proactively initiate or involve in continuous functional quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- 2 - 5 years of experience in Corporate Banking environment Trade
- Finance (ebanking Channels) IT Business Analyst.
- Project Management Experience, with PMP certification
- Agile scrum and product certifications and CDCS certification.
- Familiar with standard formats such as SWIFT, EDIFACT, ISO20022 & data transformations.
- Proficiency in Unix/Shell scripts, XML and Oracle/PLSQL
- Good functional experience in Trade Finance Product and applications.
