Responsibilities
· PM for a large project of IT cutover for Insurance
· Develop a comprehensive cutover plan detailing all migration activities.
· Coordinate with different teams to ensure alignment with project timelines.
· Risk Management:
· Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
· Proactively address issues that may impact the cutover process.
Communication:
· Maintain clear communication channels between technical teams, stakeholders, and project managers.
· Provide regular updates on cutover progress to relevant parties.
Testing and Validation:
· Oversee testing activities related to cutover processes.
· Ensure that all necessary validations are performed before, during, and after the migration.
· Troubleshooting:
· Develop contingency plans for potential issues during the migration.
· Quickly respond to and resolve any unexpected problems that may arise.
Skills/Requirement
Must have Skills:
- Proven experience in managing large-scale IT projects.
Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
- Solid understanding of IT infrastructure and application architecture.
- Experience with migration tools and technologies.
Demonstrated ability to analyze complex problems and propose effective solutions.
- Comfortable making decisions in high-pressure situations.
Experience leading cross-functional teams.
- Ability to motivate and guide team members toward common goals.
Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and timelines.
- Willingness to work outside regular business hours when necessary.
- Meticulous attention to detail, especially during critical migration activities.
- Previous Cutover Management Experience
- Prior experience managing technical cutover activities in a similar scale migration.
